Dang, all you folks are making me think about spending money. I have just been using petroleum jelly and its working fine.

But, I do like me some flavors. I am surprised no one has tried to make me buy and Jack Black balm yet. Those Nivea ones look tasty, but I have TT coming out my ears and lately I have been using my MAC TLC with the lavender.
I picked up a Jack Black Lip Balm a few weeks ago from Sephora but I still have not used it. I guess I need to find a Nivea Lip Butter now.

Yes, yes, yes! I agree. I think I liked the EOS lip balms because they were better than whatever I was using PRIOR to EOS. I don't even remember what I was using before EOS so apparently it must've been sh*tty. I went thru at least 2 or 3 of the EOS balms. And you're right about not having to constantly reapply the Nivea Lip Butters.

I don't even need these but they sound too delicious to not add to my stash. I did pick up the Maybelline baby lips cos I read all about it in the Riri thread, and Jack Black cos of the hype. I like both though.

Well, maybe if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Try the Vaseline with Cocoa Butter. I don't know if it has flavor but it has a nice scent.

Sorry but what is TT? I think I will be trying out the Nivea as well. Winter is coming and I need my mattes to be right!

My holy grail lip balm are from Jack Black. They come in nice flavors too like Grapefruit & Ginger, Lavender & Vanilla, Black Tea & Blackberry (my favorites). I don't need that much product and it stays on me longer than most lip balms I've tried. EOS never really worked for me. It hydrated my lips, but nothing long lasting.

I love Jack Black and need to order some more. I really want to get down with the Nivea butters, but I'm just not a fan of sticking my fingers in tins and pots. I have long nails and things get under them. Ick!

I know tins and pots turn a lot of people off. I have nails too. Long enough for things to get under but I just use the top of my nail to scrape some off. None of it gets under my nails that way. Heck, if it's your balm and your balm only, dab the pot onto your lips. I'm only using one section of my tin. One section has a dip and the rest of the tin is untouched.

ETA: Pots such as Tendertones might be a bit difficult to dab onto your lips but the Nivea tins aren't. The tins are more shallow than the pots.

None of those do anything for me! I'm super, super dry. I like rose salve though! Where do you get thid lanoish stuff??
Go to any drugstore and pick up a tube of lanolin in the baby/mother aisle. It works amazingly well. Locks that moisture in and prevents the cold, dry air from wreaking havoc on your lips.

I use it at night and it's typically still on in the morning. I use Dr. Lipp's Nipple Balm right now, but I'll be picking up something from Walgreens or Target soon.

I wore Steady Going the other day this time with a combo of Fasion Boost lip liner and NYX purple rain. They deepened the l/s nicely but I still think that I like the plum liner and Steady Going combo better. I think Fashion Boost liner may have been too much of a harsh contrast. Is there a pro longwear liner that's close to Plum? Seems like there is a gap in the long wear liners for a light purple. Or am I missing something I'm 100% obsessed with the wear of these liners. They make my lipstick stay on like nobody's business!'
