I really love MAC, I really do. 95% of my makeup collection is MAC. But they are genuinely pissing me off with all this LE business. Especially when something I really want is unavailable. It just puts me off from buying from them or even going to the counter. I can only imagine how the sweet ladies that work for my MAC feel. I feel like me and MAC are going to have to break up for a little while, lol :(

My holy grail lip balm are from Jack Black. They come in nice flavors too like Grapefruit & Ginger, Lavender & Vanilla, Black Tea & Blackberry (my favorites). I don't need that much product and it stays on me longer than most lip balms I've tried. EOS never really worked for me. It hydrated my lips, but nothing long lasting.
Jack Black is my HG too. I just dumped a massive collection of lip balms because I've finally accepted that JB is the one that works the best for me no matter what. Waiting for the holiday set to come out. But I'm already acting like I'm running out because I'm down to just 2 unopened tubes plus the one I'm using now (it's just that serious lol).

I prefer Jack Black to my Fresh balms. Unfortunately they've been giving me the Fresh for free so it's like I'm kinda stuck for now. LOL

i just dont like that.

JB was my HG but i dont think they work on me anymore, i always use them anyways before my P&P while doing my makeup. the holiday sets are a good value. im definitely getting a set this year. i have 3 opened ones right now and 2 sealed.

as for Baby lips. idk i have mix feelings.. i use them as tinted balms/glosses. i find them too greasy, i just wouldnt use them as bases. i think i have all the originals minus the peachy shimmery one. idk whatt happened to it. it went bad and to the trash. my faves are the Orange and Grape ones.

EOS- i got the Alice in Wonderland set r. just to try them and i didnt like them. they dont moisturize enough or at all. they are like bases to me. i do use them under lipsticks. but yeah im never buying more.

--Right now im loving the Nivea Kiss of Moisture (the dark blue stick) and also the Vaseline lip therapy pot. they are unscented, i luv that cause i can use them while i sleep. i just wouldnt be able to fall sleep with any fragrance around.

i have a crap ton of tendertones in my BU box, i used purring this summer. i may have to open another one, but then i use them as lip colors not actual treatments.

Thanks to you all, i want the Nivea lip butter now im sooo happy they have a unscented one.

and i also want to try the Rosebud Salve

Yep im a lip balm whore! i just love matte lipticks, so my lips have to be matte ready all the time!

You girls are too nice! I don't think I have ever been so excited with a collection before. Gotta love the retro mattes, Ruby woo was my first mac lipstick, and it was love at first sight. I was pretty excited with the Marilyn collection but in the end only got one ls so this already surpass the love. I will search for bu, I think we still have them here in Dublin, I don't think things sold out very quickly here, not sure though.

Oh my god, the lip balm talk has exploded! I loooove Fresh Sugar lip balm too. It's my absolute fave although I'm also using my MAC balm with lavender at the moment. I have about 9 balms on the go at once, scattered across various bags and locales around my house... Burt's Bees, Dior Lip Addict Glow, rosebud mocha balm, that blue Babylips from Maybelline (like the smell, but it's a bit thin in application), a Kiehls pot is floating somewhere, etc. NaomiH, Please let us know how the Jack Black vanilla lavender balm is. I cannot resist lavender... and I am tempted by the raves.

When my lips are damaged I go old school and slather them with aquaphor. It gets them back healthy and strong again. I don't wear it under LS because its so greasy, but just incase anyone is suffering from really dry cracked lips.....

If any of you lip balm loving ladies ever visit France or have family or someone to do you have to ask them to grab you a Reve De Meil Lipbalm by Nuxe along with your Homeplasmine. It is so matt! and tasty too - lots of natural honey in it. So great under these mattes. The only down side is that the really great one is in quite a deep glass pot, I hate how if you're not careful it can end up under nails :(

But that aside you girls are enbablers - Hello Feel Unique and your worldwide free shipping and your supply of Jack Black. Could only get the lemon one though.

I just googled the Reve de Miel balm and laughed at it's description on this site about how it's tested in extreme climate conditions in Canada... http://us.nuxe.com/en/reve-de-miel-ultra-nourishing-lip-balm-160/reve-de-miel I like pots for balm. I know I shouldn't but I don't share so..?
