Today i am Ms. Frosty, and lovin' it! I'm wearing:
--- You've Got It Lipstick
--- Talk of the Town Blush, which is sheer but a great highlight
--- Stares & Speculation Fluidline
--- Until Dawn eyeshadow - the plum-taupe in the crease and outer 1/3 of my lid, the pink-gold on the rest of my lid
I used the questionable collapsible eye shadow brush in my purse kit. It couldn't pick up color when i tested the e/s in store on my arm, but it worked just fine in my eyes, as i suspected.
Yeah, i'm lacking a bit of contrast, but i did make my eyes the focus.

I'm surprised that i got two blushes and two MSFs, since I don't wear a lot of face products most of the time, except face powder. But i tested these before purchasing and i really like them. I am rather pale and i like that some of these are light and sheer -- such as Centre of Attention MSF and Talk of the Town blush -- while others are intense -- like Scene to be Seen MSF and Lavish Living blush. These aren't as dimensional as the Tropical Taboo blushes and skinfinishes from the summer. But the MSFs aren't just frosty glitter balls either, like so many of old. And i think having 2 separate colors makes the MSFs more versatile - except maybe StBS, since the two in it are similar in saturation, unlike the other MSFs which include a light and a medium or dark.

I think some (most?) of the bloggers missed out in their assessments of this collection. As i implied, testing on my arm wasn't great -- all the products were kind of iffy on my inner arm. But i KNEW that on my face they would look much better. Truly the eye shadows and blushes and MSFs look VERY different in person and on the face than they do on arms and in photos.

I am very happy with my purchases. I am resisting the temptation to look for Private Party lipstick, which is a good thing, considering how much i hauled from this collection.

Man! Thus makes me really sad I missed out on Love Goddess! Anybody know if any dupes?
You've Got it next to By Design and Pure Zen.  Private Party next to Strong Woman and Apres Chic. Prepare for Pleasure next to Fire Sign and Love Goddess.
Yay babies! I've got baby fever so I get all giddy about those little bundles if joy. Hope you have a speedy delivery and recovery. Congratulations on your little one coming into the world!
My boxes arrived at my house but I'm in the hospital in labor ahhhhhhh so I am reading posts and being jealous of swatches while trying to breathe LOL
Oh and its black box day! Can't wait to try out my lippies :happydance:

I ordered FFF ls, and YGI csg, online (still waiting for my box) but I went to my counter to swatch today. I ended up getting raven and mystery but skipped all the shadows and cheek products. They are much more beautiful in person but they really didn't suit my skin tone and found them too sparkly for my taste. I was almost tempted by YGI ls but it was very frosty and very gold... I would only use it to highlight the center of my lips and I have other products I can that with, soft and gentle MSF comes to mind.

Cannot make up my mind about Lavish Living.... someone talk me out of it.
I was the same way... but I just caved and bought it... along with CoA... ugh... I have no willpower! The MA was wearing LL and she had just finished applying it on someone else in the store... it looked gorgeous on both of them and they had completely different skin tones. That sealed the deal for me. Sorry, I am no help! ;-)

Just got back from Nordstrom and I picked up Lavish Living and Exclusive Event. I swatched the tester for Lavish Living and it reminded me of NARS Sin, but with more specks of shimmer. I didn't notice large glitter particles, but there is definitely shimmer present. I haven't touched mine yet, but I will play it with along with Sin. If I feel like it's too close to Sin side-by-side, I'll probably return it.

Exclusive Event in the other hand is something I do not have in my collection. I wouldn't necessary call it nude, but it is in the brown tone family. I thought it'd be close to Siss or Nude (from the RiRi collection), but this one is a touch more cool and grey than Siss. Nude and Siss have more brown and warm tones than Exclusive Event. If anyone plans to wear this, I definitely recommend Stone lip pencil or Hodge Podge if you want to warm it up a bit.

Got my Stroke of Midnight Nude eye bag today, yay!
Monsy, they are all full sized products

.
Singer82, the f/l is opaque, creamy and a dream to work with. Also, no sparkles or shimmer.

That's the good news. The bad news is that it looks NOTHING like the mac site "swatch" pic. In fact, it's quite difficult to detect any plum at all when swatched :( It looks like a dark chocolate brown shade when swatched on hand and worn on eyes. I only noticed some slight purpleness when I cleaned the brush with mac cleanser and tissue lol. I am disappointed - I wanted more plum! Luckily I have nothing similar to it in my collection so it's not a total loss for me. Mac, your swatches suck!

As for Utterly Becoming p/p, I love the shade so much! I find it's more on the warm side though.
It's my first one so I can't really tell if it's consistent with Mac's other paint pots quality wise. I have had no creasing issues using it as a base so far which is A+. I found it a bit dry to apply as it sets pretty fast and my skin is adjusting to the weather changing at the moment. I don't know if paint pots are usually as dry feeling or not

Overall though, I like the bag! It's really pretty and classy looking. As with most things - It's definitely worth popping into a mac store to check it out if you are able to.

I need to sit down this weekend and play with my DN color collection stuff. Quick swatches of everything and I am not disappointed in anything - phew!.
Liba, you were so right about me loving Lavish Living. It is absolutely beautiful!

Exactly what I told myself about it, because it really leaves a nice shine!

I went to the swap shop this afternoon and found a 'Mac' stall. The seller was very nice and surprisingly was not pushy about me buying from her. She was simply mesmerized by the blush I was wearing and wanted to know the name -Lavish Living. This will be the next ISO item so get it while you are able to do so reasonably!
