I have crazy dry lips. Tendertones didn't do anything for me. Personally, I didn't like Jack Black or Sugar, they were horrible. I found a Blistex product that's been helping me immensely. I loved MAC's lip conditioner in the round white container with the black top...that they d/c'ed, if I knew they were going to do away with it I would have stock piled it, but I've gotten over it & moved on but still looking for the one, lip balm, that is. I'm trying the Jo Malone Vitamin E treatment, day 1 so I dunno yet.
Oh! I miss those lip conditioners, too. And Fresh balms are so slimey. Sigh. I really like La Mer The Lip Balm and Lip Smackers. They're cheap but hydrating. La Mer's is incredible, but so expensive.

Ladies try some coconut oil for conditioning. You'll be amazed. EVOO mixed with sugar makes a great scrub too. The Maybelline Baby Lips are great for the price. I love the Jack Black flavors & package but it seems like flavour Vaseline to me. The price isn't too steep for flavored petroleum jelly but I'm not sure it does much for my lips in the long run. I actually like the slime of the Fresh balm but it gets too soft and breaks too easily. Still hunting for that hg. Like MAC tendertones but HATE jar package.

Wearing what a feeling! today. It lasted about 2 hours then felt sticky as if a lip gloss had worn off. It wasn't drying but not necessarily hydrating either.

You just have to be extra careful with them. :) I love, love, love them. I use the clear with SPF every single day. I usually pop it on my lips after I get up out of bed, before the whole morning ritual begins. I have a few of the colored ones, but I use mainly the clear one. Did you guys know that they have a new color coming out soon??? It's called "Tulip". I can hardly wait to get my hands on that little darling!

BTW, if any of you are looking for a great night lip treatment, you might want to give the Hourglass #28 Lip Treatment Oil a try. It is called "28" because that is how many plant extracts, essential oils and vitamins are in this lip treatment. It will cost you $42 (maybe $43), but it is lovely. I forgot to mention that is is also vegan. It has a 24K gold-plated, anti-bacterial tip. One pump is all you'll need! I use this at night shortly before going to bed. Once I get my makeup off and start my nightly moisturizing ritual, this will be my end step. Then I enjoy chilling out for a little bit of TV with my pajamas on, with this lush treatment oil on my lips. It's such a wonderful treat to myself after a long, hard day's work. If you're dropping by a Sephora soon, ask them for a sample or try it on in store. It's heavenly!

^ I love the Fresh balms as well, they really work on my lips and I like to use them to add a little gloss to a drying lipstick

The only way that I could use the Fresh stuff was to put it in the fridge. Then once it was cold it could use it. I was planning a Sephora trip, so I will check out the Hourglass stuff. I love finding vegan products. Thanks for the tip :)

You're welcome :) You'll have to let me know what you think. One thing I will say right up front, the treatment oil is thick. So if you don't like anything thick and cushion like on your lips, this one won't be for you .... but if you do, you will fall in love right away. :) It feels as if your lips took a trip to the spa.

A few other lines that are vegan, lip related goodies are the OCC Lip Tars and the Bite Beauty line, also featured at Sephora. The OCC Lip Tars are extremely pigmented . They have a few traditional colors, but they are more known for their vivid shades of Magenta, Blue, Yellow, White, Green, Black .... you name it! Then there is the Bite Beauty product line. They are based out of Canada. The lady who came up with this line, wanted lip products that had both great pigmentation, a wide array of colors (from soft and subtle to wild and unbridled) in a number of formulations that will suit all of your needs. Not only are they gorgeous on your lips, but they are beneficial to your lips, as well! These lipsticks only contain natural and organic ingredients (organic fruit butters, Manuka honey), and each Bite lipstick is infused with resveratrol, which is an age-fighting antioxidant ... equal to five glasses of wine! She has also been featured on the Dr. Oz show. Her line continues to grow, but she is committed to sticking with lip products only. :) Each lipstick is still hand-poured in Canada. There are also some really cool LE color collections pretty much throughout the year. Each box from a LE color, is individually numbered with a paper seal across the top of the box. I think that is pretty darn cool! Below is an image of a few of their colors. Check 'em out. :)

P.S. They also have lip balms that are sheerer, if you're wanting an MLBB experience!

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend

I like a super thick balm at night to repair the damage from matte lipsticks. I like Lip Smackers, too, especially Ice Cream Cake and Banana flavors. La Mer's is incredible. I layer it on thick at night. But if there is a more animal-friendly version, I'll try it. I love Bite. They're so creamy. My favorite is Granache. What's yours? I've never seen her limited edition. My Sephora only carries the standard ones. I'll keep a lookout for the special ones. I know her lipsticks are supposed to be almost heathy since the average person eats about ten pounds of lipstick in their lifetime. I'm having a great weekend. Just relaxing. How about you?

I love Bite Beauty too! The Cashmere Lip Cream in Moscato is a hot pink that is even brighter than Nars Schiap, Candy Yum Yum and OCC Anime. It's gorgeous!

I also love Fig, Pomegranate and Madeira.

I have a couple nice Bite Beauty lipsticks too but they are pricey ($32 Cdn), so I am sticking with the two that I have which are Zin and Mulberry.

They all have a special place in my heart, but I would have to say that Dolcetto Honey Lip Lacquer is my all-time favorite! I use it with MUFE #1 lip liner. It makes for a great nude lip! :)

I am happy that you are having a great weekend. Everyone needs a little (or a lot) more relaxation in their lives. I have had a very busy weekend so far. I have to today off, so I have been a slug for most of the day. :) I just got back from seeing "Saving Mr. Banks". It was good, but it was also sad. Now I am going to watch a little something that has a major dose of happiness ... maybe "Pitch Perfect".

Oh, BTW, I was looking at Bite Beauty's site a few hours ago. I had no idea that they have a location in New York, where you can go and create your own lip color.

Talk about a lipgasm!!! That would be so much fun!!!

Hope everyone is having a relaxing and cozy Sunday

I saw the lip bar in NYC. Damn being on the west coast! Their lipsticks are so great! I wish they had more colors, though. I l like my lipstick loud! On a side note, I read this site for months before I got an account. I'm so glad I finally did. I love how sweet and helpful everyone is. I hope everyone had a great holiday! :bouquet:
