MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (February 6, 2014)

Seems like MAC is getting more protective of the release of product info lately! Oh well, maybe it will encourage me to get into a store on release day instead of choosing online.
Maybe that's what they want! Haha. People buying more online because they don't have swatches to rule out certain shades.. and others going in store to be nudged into more than they came with by sales associates.

I've been saying it again and again, but if I don't get swatches before this launch, I'm skipping! You hear me MAC? SKIPPING!!!

YES! I wish I had your resolve!! I still want one or two lippies but that's way down from my initial list of like 9 products or something lol. At this point I'm afraid that swatches will make me want more all over again.

Well one good thing is if there is less advance publicity, it'll be a lot easier to stroll into a local store without getting buffalo stampeded to check everything out. It's always best to see everything in person when possible, anyways - less room for error that way.

I completely agree!! Most of the things I've been buying online don't work for me and I'm sure I would've never bought them if i were able to try everything in store.

Yesterday I pulled out all my springtime lipsticks - all the pinks, lavenders and corals - the pastels and the brights. Whew! That was sort of a job lol.

Looking at everything I have already is a good reminder at how many of these lippies I already have some dupes for.
I don't think I'll be able to resist Snapdragon, even though I've got a couple that I bet will be similar. Heavenly Hybrid will be for sure, too. The fluidlines were never even a question and Playful Petal sure is tempting. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to resist Perfect Topping - might not be so lucky with the pink MB or a pigment or two.

I won't even let myself buy makeup online unless it's a color I'm 100% certain about, which is almost never. 'Doesn't really stop me from buying makeup, hehe, but at least what I buy usually is flattering.

I still buy some new/LE things online if I know I won't be able to find them in stores.. now that I know what colors or formulas work. But I definitely made a lot of online buying mistakes in the beginning.

Honestly part of it for me is that I really can't afford to make risky purchases. The only things I am even considering at this point are Dreaming Dahlia and Perfect Topping, and PT is mostly because I have no finishing powders at all and I might as well try this while it's available. I need to go check out how it is on NW10-15 skin though...

Glad she is home safely :), pets are like family for some people (including me)
I'm so glad she's safe! I love my parent's pets like nothing else (I can't have pets in my apartment) so I would be freaking out if they disappeared. Your kitten is truly beautiful!
That sounds so stressful! So glad she's okay!
[@]beautybuyer[/@], so glad your kitty made it home safely!
Awww glad your kitty is safe and sound now. By the way Isabelle is a pretty kitten.
Thanks ladies! I know honestly, I didn't think I would be one of THOSE women lol. But I'm an official cat lady now lol. [@]Lipstickdiva420[/@] thanks! When I saw her at the shelter my heart just melted! I was suppose to be looking for a dog lol
Someone has a "pre-sale" of this collection listed on evilbay.... :durr:
I saw one weeks ago! I was like okay then lol

OMG this is the longest 2 weeks ever. I'm just waiting for the 6th to get them in store because I hate going through the online hassle. On another note...has anyone tried the Becca skin perfecting powder in rose gold?

Just got back from a "fashion forward" thing...I asked the girl whom I usually talk to at the counter about the collection and all she said was "I love everything!" aaand she is the one who lets me know when they're doing pre-sale!!! FoF is really top secret...

Yes on the Becca. I'm NC15 and its a near-blush on me. It's so pretty. I sort of fell in love with it, but I usually add a bit of bronzer too because it's almost a bit too light to be a blush. The sheen is so beautiful--more pronounced than I was thinking it would be for a powder. I've been using it a lot.
