Rose Lily is a light milky pink with a lavender hint to me & subtle tiny sparkles. I have pigmented lips and horrible lighting but applied sheer this lipstick is cute. Sorry I don't think I have a similar color to compare it to (slacking on the light pink game) and I apologize for the crappy pic quality/ lighting in advanced it was taken with front facing cam pics
I'm lopsided about buying SR I really like the 2012 version it looks more peachy. Exactly the color I would buy. :shrugs:So this years SR is definitely lighter than 2012's....
I even rubbed the top to see if there was darker veining through it... But it doesn't look like there is

I so much want to get in on the conversation here, but this thread has blown up beyond all magnitudes of proportion. I do not have what it takes to catch up on 600 posts since yesterday, lol.
Anyhow, thanks to everyone posting swatches!
Sassy Moss and Phlox Garden are still LOVE LOVE LOVE and I cannot wait to have them in my hands. Sassy Moss is even more amazing than I'd hoped - good lord that is going to be worn non-stop in a mega cats eye by MOI all spring and summer long.
The lippies are driving me crazy, because I know I've got near dupes of them all. I am going in tomorrow to see the whole collection in person and am bringing a big makeup bag filled with my potential dupes to double check. Actually, the one that seems the least like everything else I own is Dreaming Dahlia - it's looking like a deeper Sushi Kiss, or a more pastel Toxic Tale, which is again PURE LOVE.
I can't be too crazy with this collection because I just got an email about a pre-sale next week on the most beautiful shoes my shoe lovin' heart has ever seen. Check out these unbelievable princesses:
Frikken glorious - I don't even care what they're going to cost. If I ever get married, I'm wearing these babies, lol.

Here's the thing I don't get... If MAC knows it can't replicate a past product, why try!? They aren't fooling anyone! And there are too many pics and swatches out there for us to see we are getting something different! You can't tell me they aren't going to have a crap ton of returns!! They'd be WAY better off just calling it a new name & selling it as a new product! Then there would be no expectation! I feel they are trying to trick us into buying for hype. And that they think we're too stupid to realize we got duped! And they rub salt in the wounds & laugh in our faces by using the old promo images that look nothing like the new product! And if they didn't feel they were wrong... They wouldnt be sending out replacements! I hate that sort of business practice! It's SO shady!

I'm not sure. It's a blush on me, but I'm so pale that I fluoresce.
I think I've seen people with darker skin tones using SR as a highlight, and that may be particularly the case if this year's batch are lighter. Perhaps other people around NW45 may be able to help you?
