Sorry ladies, first time uploading pics. I'll try this again. These picture are not doing these swatches justice! I'm using my Blackberry. I am NW 45, keep in mind these swatches are on the back of my hand. With flash:

Rose Lily is a light milky pink with a lavender hint to me & subtle tiny sparkles. I have pigmented lips and horrible lighting but applied sheer this lipstick is cute. Sorry I don't think I have a similar color to compare it to (slacking on the light pink game) and I apologize for the crappy pic quality/ lighting in advanced it was taken with front facing cam pics
Thank you all for the swatches! I'm slowly getting into MAC and needed more swatches before I decide what to buy from Nordstrom.

The new SR really is a joke, compare T's swatches to the one from 2012, it's a COMPLETELY different product. I'm appalled.

I don't mind the new Stereo Rose - it seems more similar to the original version from everyones pictures. Beauty Lookbook did a comparison to the 2005 and 2010 versions here:

If I just saw the pics I would think they were mislabeled by the blogger or something. The point of repromotes is so that people who missed out can get a shade. Yeah, i posted that PT was completely new altogether before the collection launched.
I was just saying that the cost of the ingredients didn't go up. But yes, different years, batches, techniques, etc will result in variances in colours. But what people need to understand, is that PT is a new new colour (yes, same name, but new colour) this round, which i did mention before the collection launched. And that all MSFs are individually different from each other and throughout itself. So when you're using it this week, it's gonna be different from itself next week. Everyone is comparing their individual Pt to everyone else's. They're not gonna be the same. There might not be pink/purple on the top, but give it a week or two and there will be. The same applies to SR.

I ordered SR because I heard it was WOC friendly. That new Temptalia swatch looks very light. I don't want to have to dig around in the SF for weeks to get to the darker part.. there may not ever BE a darker part. I'll see what it looks like when it arrives and the decide. I don't like that they keep changing the formula. Why repromote if it's going to be a completely different product? I get subtle differences, but not a glaring difference.

i agree I'm not tripping I will send that sucker back in a heartbeat mac really just should of slapped a different name on these I don't buy alot of msf I pick very carefully because I don't highlight all the time my last one was adorned which I love love but come on totally different but for those of u that recieved yours and love it enjoy I have not even got mines I wish it was a reject package ups i would send that sucker right back to mac don't want
Yup, I will have to do that too now. Even though I have BU.I'm officially annoyed at myself for not backing up Stereo Rose when it was repromoted with Apres Chic. I hadn't used it enough to justify a backup then. I'll continue to use sparingly.
BTW Nadine, are you a late night owl, like me? Or, are you an early, early bird? It's 3:15am here in the UK and we should both be sound asleep!
