yeah on the site if u click to see the limited editions of the mineralize lipstick it says they all are limited thats what they do before they get rid of something

Everyone's been pretty confused about what's up with that.The current mineralize lipsticks currently have the triangle indicating that they're limited edition (at least on the US site). Unless they put that there by mistake, I have to assume that means MAC is planning on getting rid of them in the near future.
I really don't understand this since they're supposed to be perm, and especially since they're coming out with 6 new shades. I've noticed the displayer at the counter has had 6 extra spots that are always just filled in with extra testers of the original 12 mineralize lipsticks, so when I saw there would be 6 new ones coming out, I thought they were going to be added to the ones currently available. Now I'm just not sure
I'm hoping for a refresh of the colors in the range. Maybe it'll be something more like what they've been doing with semi-perm MES for years, where every year, they switch out the colors and they're available for about a year before the next switch.
It could be that the displays will be changing and only have room for 6 too. My buddy was RAVING about the Mineralize eyeshadow quads that are coming up. Those are going to be perm so maybe there will be a new display where the shadows and the lipsticks and glosses will all be together in one display stand?

I had that thought about them possibly cycling the colors too, but then the display with the 18 spots that they've had for so long threw me off and made me think the new 6 were additions, not replacements. But if they're getting a whole new display with all the mineralize colors (lips, eyes, etc) together, that would make sense. Who knows? Not even sure MAC knows at this point, lol.
