I'm going Thursday morning to try the yellow one -- redness is my issue. I'd order on-line but I don't know if I'd prefer the powder or the cream.

Id like to try these later on. I went to my mac today and they didn't have them out of course. Off topic, I picked up P+P bright forecast, I've been clicking it but it seems really oily and not so much color? Does it take a few clicks before the product actually comes up?

These launch tmrw, thats why they weren't out. Yup. Lots of clicks and then it shoots out, so be careful.

I made a special trip to the Make Up For Ever store in Los Angeles so i could get the #8 Mauve Super Matte Loose Powder. (we were in LA to play a concert and as soon as we got there i drove my van load of musicians to the store) So i can pass on the lavender loose powder. But i'd sure love a compact - much more portable. And with my pink cheeks, i could use the yellow or the apricot in something... Just when i think i am strong and MAC cannot tempt me...
I love the super matte powders and with you I would love them to be in available in compact form. #12 and # 18 are is my favorite and they neutralize any makeup that leans too much on the red side. These powders set beautifully. Hopefully with the launch of the HD powder as a compact, the super mattes will be next

I went to my MAC counter this morning and I have to say I am super impresses with the yellow CC. I thought it would work but I was surprised how well.

I tried the cream and it completely covered my red cheeks. She used the lavender powder on top to brighten but I'm not sure I saw much difference with that.

Glad this is permanent. I'd be curious to hear how others like the other shades.

I went to a MAC store to check these out today. I have some areas of darkened pigmented areas on my cheeks and above my lips. At the SA's suggestion, I used the orange Recharge cream over the areas. I buffed it into my skin with the 159 brush, which I thought worked really well to allow layer able coverage. To my surprise, the discoloration really disappeared using this orange tone. I didn't need much at all. I didn't want to COVER it like a foundation, just use enough so that it seemed to disappear. I was shocked to see it gone, gone, gone. Just even complexion (with a touch of orange) in the mirror.

I used a light bit of the MAC BB cream overall to even out my entire face with the 159 brush.

Then I used a a bit of the Adjust pressed powder to set the whole look and add a slight touch of color. The Adjust is a pretty subtle color--it looked like a soft bonne mine effect. I really, really liked the look- it was pretty and glowy. I did get breakthrough glow on my forehead after about 5 hours (not surprisingly, I think the BB is moisturizing?)

One thing is that I'm not 100% sure of the longevity of the Recharge CC Cream. Later tonight, I could see a touch of the discoloration showing a bit (although a lot less than usual). One thing to think about, and play with. If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts about longevity, please let me know?

I'm NC15. Also, I tried the Illuminate/purple powder as an all-over color at the store (the SA suggested that I try it that way), and I really disliked it. It was far too cool for my warm skin. No surprise I guess, as Erine1881 and Mac Guy say, only where needed.
