I was gonna skip, but I caved and called MAC to see if they had any Petal Power left- they did and phone gal said I had a 3 dollar something credit... not sure what that was from, but I'll take it! Yay slightly less expensive and free FedEx Express too!

I'm nervous about getting my Azalea now.

I'm looking at PT again... just don't want the disappointment of getting a Perfect Beige. I can't really go to a counter, so I'll have to order it online. Should I take the risk?

You can always send it back, but that can be a pain. Maybe Azalea will show up better on you. It just left no pretty pink on me. It should have been more multi rose/pink/violet like how they did Petal blush. Sometimes those shades will actually show up better on darker skin than mine - especially olive skintones. Please let me know! When are you supposed to get it?

Well I think I'm keeping both blushes. PP is amazing and the shimmer is what I want. I guess I got lucky in the genetic lottery bc I have some bigger pores but they are so close to the sides of my nose that shimmer products don't hit them (unless I do a nose highlight, which is a "never that" for me unless a photoshoot is happening). I also contour daily so I must say these two look AMAZING with a Matte Bronze contour below the cheekbone! Admittedly, AitA isn't as "bright" as I thought, but it still shows up on me well. I guess maybe, even though I'm a perfect NC40, I pull "cool" more than others in my range, because this is noticeable on me, without a heavy hand. It's different than my Dainty (which actually I gave away because it doesn't show up on me at ALL. I have to stick to "blue pinks") so that warrants a "keep" for me.

I was on this "Team Low Buy" with you girls until I went and spent a zillion on BU's of Snapdragon (well not as bad since I have Pro Discount)! I like the other colors on you ladies a LOT, but for me, I need a pink lip with any look I do. I'm too girly for my own good, although I did branch out to the VG RiHanna red (first red EVER). I'd say MAC is still very excellent quality although I think their creativeness has gone down since EL bought them. I have some things from collections such as the Lure Collection (anyone remember MaidenChant?!) and I always think "Damn, make a collection like that again!"

So, I'm still singing "Happy" by Pharrell to this collection just the same……YAY FOR Shimmery, girly colors and a break from the Matte madness!

I BTM for Heavenly Hybrid and Dreaming Dahlia today. I thought the new SR was beautiful; I like it a lot more than the 2012 version. Nearly got in a tiff with a MUA who was telling a lady that it's the same SR. Um, no. Tell people the truth.

There is just very very little to no color on me. I was hoping for a light plum/violet pink. ALL shimmer They could have done so much better with the color on this one. I will have to go find my orgasm blush, but I think PP may be different.

Awww, shucks. That's sweet of you….thank you! It's funny too, because I get all kinds of colors slapped on my face and still, when I'm doing my own makeup it's "Pink! Shimmer!" everything (I think I never matured in the makeup department past highschool).

I think if I'm every poor I will be "The Little Girl Who Lives in Her MAC Lipsticks." HA!

I still have my MaidenChant and that big ass compact of Glitter Cream (Rock it Pink) from the Rock It collection. Sheesh….maybe I should have GROWN UP in the 80's instead of being born in the late 80's?!?!

I got 99 Problems but Snapdragon ain't one!

I'm in one of those "you know you have too much makeup when you can look at a new MAC collection and not be tempted by anything" moods.

I already have Stereo Rose and Perfect Topping from previous releases. I've fallen out of love/lust with MESs and MBs (the Extra Dimension stuff has kinda taken over my obsession). The lipsticks aren't anything super special to me, I feel like I could recreate a lot of the colours by patting on a liptick and adding some lipbalm. I've also stopped being crazy about cremesheens.

So far I've only ended up with Sassy Moss fluidline and Chartreuse Bouquet pigment cuz I'm a sucker for greens. The store I went to was sold out of Phlox Garden fluideline... At 9:00 AM. I think I got the last Sassy Moss. Every time I visit this store I dunno why I'm so surprised that stuff sells out so early in the morning, they are only sent 3 of some items (usually the most popular/coveted), leaving 2 to actually sell after they put out the tester.

Looks like I'll be having a fun lunch time adventure looking for Phlox Garden at the Eaton Centre. I'm not gonna stress out about it though (or I'll try LOL, I tend to be kinda upset that I can't get one item and then I kinda forget about it after a week), I'm sure I can do something pretty with Macroviolet (maybe with some Pink Pearl pigment as a topping?). I know that my bank account will be happier about my smallish purchase (despite going to Sephora twice this week...

)

And the lady was soooo nice enough to actually let me sift through all the Stereo Roses to find the one with the most gold and this was the winner :eyelove: . I MIGHT returrn the one I ordered and just keep this one. It pays to go to MAC and look at your options!

Golden hours! I quite liked it actually, but It is not for everyone. It wont show up on darker skintones (more like a sheen or a shimmer) since theyre not overly pigmented but I liked the look I got out of it

I am taking Heavenly Hybrid back to mac. My lips are way to pigmented for that lipstick. I am going to pick up stereo rose.

What I still don't understand is MAC's return policy... you can ship back to Nordstroms for free but to MAC themselves you gotta pay for shipping, so ridiculous.
