MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (February 6, 2014)

Thank you! I tried to get near natural light so everyone could see how lilac-y pink it is on me (NC40 even though I look hella pale there lol).

I looks fabulous! I just wished it had pulled that color on me.

My lips have too much pigment. It just looked like a dull pink on me. At least, that's how it swatched at the counter. I'm glad it worked for you though! And it's a perfect color for Spring and Summer!

Um. I don't think you are being critical. I think, that's just as crappy as your first one. It's ultimately up to you if you keep them but, me personally. I would send them both back. There are SO many other face powders/highlighters out there. That you don't need to keep those, if your not going to be happy with them. Nothing worse than having more makeup that just sits and collects dust. What a shame!

These pinks must be what guys like! One of the only lipsticks my boyfriend complimented me on was Raspberry Swirl. Hmm...

I have Nars Mistinguette on with it, from the Guy Bourdin blush palette. It's a pretty combination too, but I can't wait to try it with SF, which I just ordered! Yay!
Well, I'm glad you got it because it looks fabulous on you!

You ordered SF! You may have to use a dense brush, but its going to look so super pretty on you. Yeah, I think guys like pinks on girls

I got my SF too.. lol. I realized I have Sex Appeal and Sex Fantasy now.. I wonder if I wear both together and rub them together.. so a gorgeous man will appear!!

I did the same with my Perfect Topping. I was the only one there so she opened the drawer and pulled out every last one and helped me make a decision. I love my MAC girls!

I was also allowed to handpick my Perfect Topping. She pulled out all of them, and there was at least 30! And most of them were pretty nice. Not all of them had a lot of purple, but they all had beautiful veining that contained some purple bits. I must say I think I picked the best one. I'm very satisfied :eyelove:

I also picked up Phlox Garden, Rose Lily and Fleur D'Coral. I wanted Heavenly Hybrid, Snapdragon and Dreaming Dahlia too, but they were sold out by the time I got out of school

Everyone is looking great in their FoF stuff.

Makes me wish warmer weather was here already!

I managed to get a Phlox Garden fluidline, looks like the counter at The Bay had a good stock of everything in, this was at around 12:45 PM today.

The very nice SAs asked if I wanted some blush applied but I politely declined, mostly cuz my skin is being picky this winter and I don't have any other makeup on. It is definitely inspiring me to play with cheek colours... Once I'm able to ditch wearing a scarf everyday.

That's lucky! I just got back from my counter at The Bay and both fluid lines and both blushes were sold out. Mind you, the SA said they only got 6 of each fluidline. Kind of weird for a counter that usually gets a lot of stock. All I wanted was PG but I tried on Perfect Topping too (because why not?) and it is lovely. The one on display had quite a bit of veining and it looks like a peachy gold on me outside in the real world so I may consider going back to have a look at the ones they have to see if there are ones with good veining for purchase.

Stock issues is why I always go down to Eatons, the MAC store in the mall, two counters at The Bay, and MAC pro in walking distance..what you want has to be somewhere there lol! I went to Fairview mall's The Bay today and they only got TWO of each blush (not going there again)!

I wore Raspberry Swirl yesterday too and people just were much friendlier and nicer towards me in general - random stuff, like the lady at the deli counter giving me extra meat for free, lol.

Okay, FINALLY got my HH l/s! MAC refunded my money from the cancelled order and I was able to go in store and scoop it before it sold out! It's an hour away to get it, but... it was worth it! Now that I'm back home, I'm contemplating whether or not I should have gotten Naked Bud... lol, just gonna sleep on it.

Nice! I picked up CB, LW and PP.





I had my appointment this morning and also picked up PP. I was in absolute awe at how beautiful it looked. It was like a combo of blush and highlight all in one on my skin! PT paled in comparison so I skipped out on. I picked up CB I also decided to skip the creamsheens in lieu of the mineralized lip glasses. When I asked my MA about the upcoming releases, he said Playland is one of the best collections he has seen in while; He said he hasn`t been so inspired in a long time.

He also mentioned that the blushes from the Proenza Schouler release were gorgeous! He said ``Girl, you better save your money because March and April is going to be fire!``

You're getting me more excited for Playland!

Listen - when Erine1881 painted the upcoming Playland collection as a canvas awash in "QUITE CUTE ON CRACK!" and by extension...so not your mother's prom palette- i just about FAINTED!

And when MACina mentioned perhaps hits of a purple-tinged QuickSizzle might be a nice addition- I was forced to bring out the BIG GUNS- ( imagine BIG BANG'S Leonard taking an exaggerated hit off of his inhaler)- in my case my VICK'S inhaler LMAOROTF!!!! Imagine if you will bolts of VIBRANT SHANTUNG unrolling in a sea of BUDDING LOVE crushing up against LAZY day and a Cracked out QUITE CUTE!! DId someone just yell HAPPY FREAKIN" BIRTHDAY?????
