OH poop I was hoping they looked like that.... although I already own 3/5 lipsticks in the pichttp://www.theskinandbeautyblog.com/2014/02/lots-of-brights-with-mac-playland.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+PrincesaLivia+(The+Skin+and+Beauty+Blog)&m=1
It's not the lipstickhas this been posted yet? it may or may not be the yellow lipstick http://instagram.com/p/j3DvYxpRu7/
ahh ok, thanks ! I'm actually relieved, that color is wayy too yellow for a lipstick imoIt's not the lipstick
The lipgloss is yellow, but I asked my friend about its opacity and it's not too opaque. Not annoyingly sheer, but not super dense either - he was underwhelmed.ahh ok, thanks ! I'm actually relieved, that color is wayy too yellow for a lipstick imo
EL had a yellow gloss with some sparkles last year and it was lovely. MAC had Stringbean (green) and a yellow gloss too - think it was filtered> anyway, they work well to tone down the colour of lips or lipsticks. Sometimes getting some nice efffects. The lipgloss is yellow, but I asked my friend about its opacity and it's not too opaque. Not annoyingly sheer, but not super dense either - he was underwhelmed.
Final judgement will have to come when I see it all in person. I don't think this is going to be a sure fire, buy without trying collection at all.
Those collections had some of my favorite lipsticks. I love almost any bright lipstick, so those were just completely targeting my wallet! I was actually just looking thorough my LE MAC lippies the other day and my heart went pitter-patter thinking about wearing Watch Me Simmer again. I think I need to bust it out this weekend.I don't think these will be pastels, more like brights similar to the Iris Apfel collection or the Shop x 3, Cook x 3 collection. I am wishing they would have repromoted Playtime as it would fit the theme and maybe Lollipop Loving but I give up hoping for those. I predict this collection gonna knock it out of the park. (Which is why I keep saying I will start my low buy AFTER this one). The promo pic actually disappointed me a little, but the products sound apropos
There's no special packaging.OMG! I'm all over this collection! I love pinks and corals they are colors that can be used in the spring and well into summer. Hopefully this collection comes in a playful special packaging. Can't wAit to hear more about it and more pictures, but I'm loving the color story! Ahhhh
I inquired about the three glosses on the bottom right corner and was told they ARE apart of the playland collectionthose lipglasses definitely look like they could be from the playland collection!![]()
On me, yellow is just a no in any form, be it makeup, clothes, shoes, or jewelry. I can't even get away with a yellow purse, LOL! If you aren't to the extreme in cool like I am, I would assume a lot will depend on how sheer or opaque the gloss is.The yellow lipgloss looks nice but would it look odd on someone fair with pink undertones ?? Also make teeth look yellow or no??i don't know if I would be bold enough to wear that ..the lavender is a definite YES!!! ..the pink, maybe it has to look unique
There was at least Liberated from Style Warriors Collection. I have to try it on again (if it's still ok)!EL had a yellow gloss with some sparkles last year and it was lovely. this alone does not make for a collex tho.
