(In my best Michael Jackson singing voice) You are not alone.......
I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone. Lol
That literally made me LOL!!!

HeeHee Isn't it great! Love this place!

WERD! Sounds like you are one of us! #TeamLowBuy

I'm banking on you being right so I can keep my Low-Buy intact! But it looks that way to me too!
Playland isn't dupeable, but it's also the fussy one. Unless you love fiddling and fussing and hassling with a lipstick, it will sit in a drawer gathering dust for a lot of people. I am going to get it, because I actually don't own a single gold lipstick or even a pure gold gloss, because normally they don't look good on me, being NC15 - I'm too light and too sallow together. So I'm into Playland, but I know I will probably never wear it alone, but always over pencils, lipsticks or blotted down gloss. That's more work than I bother with for daily quick out the door use for sure.

If I absolutely had to only pick ONE lipstick from this collection, I'd personally still probably pick Playland personally because of where it fits into my collection, but it's definitely not the one I'd say was my first recommendation for most people lighter than NC20 or NW30, unless you have strong olive undertones. The one I'd recommend without any reservations would be Toying Around - this one will look good on just about anyone! It's like Toxic Tale, which is a color that we really haven't gotten a dupe of all these years, because my guess it uses more of some of the more expensive pigments out there. Alternately, I'd say Sweet Experience, since it's a very cute and strong statement and really, really high fashion right now and will be a very stylish statement color going forward into next year for sure. We'll be seeing this sort of color on next Spring's runways and beyond. It'll look good on anyone too, especially if you're ok with light lipstick, or it would be really easy to adjust with the yellow gloss or Playland, if it runs a little too pink. Lastly, for very dark skin tones, Red Balloon is going to POP in a huge way. I'm on the fence about it for myself, but it's going to be massive for some people - MASSIVE.

So for me: Playland > TA > SE > HGL > RB > HitC (only last place because I've got VG Riri and it's slightly richer) I'm getting P, SE and TA for sure and also have HGL on hold, but may also get RB, or get RB instead of HGL (HGL is a little better on me overall).

For in general: TA > SE > RB > P > HGL > HitC

Thanks so muh liba! How would you compare TA to Vegas Volt? I have VV and I'm set on TA but if it's too similar than it's a skip. They're both amplifieds as well

I don't own VV, but from what pictures I've seen of it, it's quite a bit lighter and more pastel than TA and also more orange. Just go look at pictures of Toxic Tale and compare and contrast!

Looking at those swatches makes me want it all! Trying hard to stick to my little list of just 2/3 items. Ithink I can skip HGL for KYY later.

soo toying around may be similar to Ablaze!?
I've mentioned this before a few times. Ablaze is much more clown lips than Toying Around. I like Ablaze a lot but TA is more wearable under more conditions. If you already have TT and Ablaze and really want to trim your list, you can skip TA, but then with that logic you can pretty much skip this entire collection. This collection is mostly about if you love brights and want your favorite ones from the past few years in an Amplified finish.
