MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I'm a newbie and I just had to sign up and release my frustration I just ordered one of the new lorac lipsticks and I was really excited for sweet experience (lord knows I don't need anymore pinks) but I can't help it all I wear is pinks lol but mac is really grinding my gears now I'm second guessing buying anything from them I guess it's okay that it got pushed back since I ordered a pink from lorac new lipsticks so I'll be waiting to see if the color I order is similar to sweet experience .. U coulda had my money mac but you snooze you lose!!

ive stalked all day. i stalked in the bathroom ive stalked in your way i was in the elevator and i stalked in front of May (my boss) I stalked in the gym while doing my crunches i stalked on the stairs and tripped people and their lunches all day stalking Mac, the website says nothing their customer service sucks come on mac give us somethin! no proenza no playland no "same lippy with different finishes" only those forsaken just released patentpolishes im over fantasy of flowers and dont want by request stalking nordies is the only thing i got left im so bored stalking, ive turned poetic i dont even write like this to my fiance!, how pathetic! listen MAC wake up and get your shit together! if i dont get my mac fix this week, i might just leave you forever! i got way too carried away!

The longer this takes, the more I am cutting back on what I want. At one point last week I wanted four lipsticks... now I want maybe two, and I am having second thoughts about both of them.

Wasn't it mentioned somewhere in this thread that MAC was pushing back the dates for Playland? I think that people thought that it was just a rumor. Do they normally release collections on Mondays? I thought that Tuesdays were their online release days.

Any ideas on why it has been delayed?- Quality control, wanting drive MAC customers into a frenzy by releasing 3or 4 collections in one month?

Online releases used to be Thur, exactly one wk before the in store launch but Mac changes things constantly. We've had collections released unexpectedly even on Sundays in the past so we just never know. I think they delayed it either because they intended to do so since the beginning in order to leave people hanging and build up the hype and or because they just released the By Request last wk which on top of everything hasn't yet sold out.

Idk how many times I've had them to that! I hear some of the things the sephora, Mac Bobby Brown, etc employees say..and most of the time I'm thinking "how did they even get a job here?" I asked someone at sephora about the Dior mono matte shadows... I asked how they were best used..(obviously meaning like underneath like a paint pot or just regular shadow) and she looked at me like I was dumb one. That's just one of the most recent incidents..there's soooo many more. They don't know upcoming and sometimes past collections...and good luck finding to many people who know the best way to use them if they do.

Pushing playland and proenza back is lame. Im already losing interest. Shame on mac for not communicating to their employees. I know more about their products most of the time when I walk into a store. And all the wrong/lack of info irritates me when talking to their online help. I love mac but sometimes I end up taking my business to nars, ud, or chanel.

Yes! When I went to check out the Fantasy of Flowers collection, I asked for the Phlox Garden Fluidline and the woman looked at me like I was crazy! I had to take her to the display and physically point at PG. This was after the collex had launched too!

noo! worse! i went to sleep and woke up at 3AM freaking out thinking this party went live without me.. and no.. obviously... but then i couldnt sleep.. then all day stalking (this is the second time i charge my iphone... ) two calls to mac, two chat lives, two calls to sephora (for anastasia stuff thats sold out)... another call to mac because i have B2M to cash in and im thinking in getting MEDIA (which apparently they have a low stock of) then i go to MAC and realize i LEFT my b2m empties at home! came back to the office.. went to the gym at lunch (stalking stalking like a zombie!! on my phone, you'd think im investing in stock or something) realized i also needed a prep and prime lip that i forgot to get when i went to mac.... i want to scream! no brains today!!!!!!!!! its ok. ill just hold off to get everything on one shot and thats it and add my empty of PPLip to the stash for B2M... i just wanted two of these lippies. two. why is this so difficult!
