MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I bought the Esperanza palette and actually returned it because the shadows were way too soft/powdery for me. I mean, the glitter was everywhere when I first opened it. Such a bummer because the colors were so pretty.

I LOVE my Esperanza palette powdery but soooo pigmented and I love how the four on the left work together and then the four on the right....I died for that mint color and the super bronzy color

I keep buying stuff from Sephora because I can't wait for Playland and my need for makeup is growing! I just got the UD electric palette, LOVE it. I can't buy any Kat Von D though, she's a Nazi sympathizer and I just don't play that I also got Fanfare for a peach, but it looks orange on me. Everything looks orange on me. Which is okay when it's Lady Danger, but neon orange and muddy orange are NOT the same.

Hiya girls I have fanfare I love it I ordered from sephora today earlier I got the nars eye pallete the sephora coral I think lippy never tried no sephora lippy before and those hairdresser grip things the pink Needed abit more pink n glam in my life and three free perfume samples ))) saved 16.00 dollars with the beuty insider discount woo hoo And my points are upto 200 and something now Not sure how long those points last though . Didnt fancy nothing off the freebies with the points ATM x

Don't worry, those points last a LONG time! Mine have been over 1000 for a long time, I always save them for a good 500 pt. freebie They've never removed my points and I've been shopping there ten years

When you are matched at Sephora with the Color IQ, you are given an alphanumeric code by the device. That code will tell you which side you fall on. For example, 1R11 (Red) or something like 2Y06 (Yellow). Once that code is placed into the Color IQ iPad, all the foundations both online and in store, will pop up. There is a chart (grid) that shows where you place in the spectrum, but all you really need is the code. Hopefully you were asked to input your email address, so that your best options (and your color IQ code) will be available to you at any time.

My best guess is that you're probably somewhere in the middle, meaning neutral. What is your Color IQ code?

Yay for another A cup! I do got me some booty as well. My husband bless his soul still loves my little boobies. Makes me feel better. Def helps that he's a butt guy. I was really looking forward to playland and bright side and now that I've seen swatches, I'm disappointed. I wanted that intense, opaque yellow I saw in the Instagram images. Any recommendations how I can get a yellow like that?

I haven't gotten a chance to play around with them yet but I do love how they swatch and feel. I especially love the packaging in pretty much all her palettes and these ones are no exception. I wanted to pick up Ladybird but I didn't realize it had been discontinued :'( I think the Monarch one is a good one to start since its more versatile and easier to use on a day to day basis but how can you get one and leave the sister behind....

I do like the one i own, but Liba said the new ones are a bit different. The new ones are less sticky on checks which is good, but not as good on lips as the originals, so depends on how u intend to wear it. If you only want it for lips, skip it for sure. Its a product you kinda have to try for yourself. My skin is dry on my checks, i love the mac cremeblend blushes, they are fantastic.

My legs are cool, my wrists are cool, my hands are warm, my chest is warm, but my face can pull neutral or warm. The whole vein thing is crap (and i mean that is the kindest way).

I swear my chest is pink, body yellow, and face neutral. Having a neutral face undertone makes foundations a tad more difficult to find
