So I just saw a post on IG with one of the ombré blushes for sale and the caption said MAC sent me the wrong blush but I don't want it so I'm selling at retail plus shipping because I just want my money back yet later on in the post the person says MAC is sending them the correct one. So if MAC is sending the correct one aren't you already getting what you paid for? Some ppl are so shady. Just as bad as the evilbayers.

I hope everyone gets the blushes they ordered, especially Ocean City.

I ordered both blushes the moment it showed up on the site but they haven't shipped yet. The only thing that shipped and is on its way was Pinkfringe that was ordered at Nordstrom.

Ive read all the posts and thought oh hell no MAC! Havent received my blush yet but know itll be the wrong one. Im so pissed off right now. MAC better give me my money back. Imthinking about getting anything at all due to lack of organization...too many screw ups

just phoned home since i won't be getting home till late tonite and i was sent the wrong blush too! ordered OC and they sent SB!

EDIT: just called MAC and got the "we'll keep in touch" canned response. i really wonder how they plan on correcting this.

I mean if you don't want it send it back to MAC. The same way you can find time to mail it to someone , you can ask them for a return label and send it back.
Yes but MAC will probably trash it. I'd rather someone get it that wanted it than it go in the trash. Plus it doesn't sound like she's scalping.

So my order was upgraded to complimentary overnight shipping and is showing as "shipped" as of early this morning, however no updates have been made all day on the UPS site except that it's going to be delivered tomorrow. Should I be worried? I'm just paranoid that they've cancelled my order after this whole blush fiasco (even though they wouldn't need to for mine, I ordered both blushes) UGH darn you MAC!!! :-/ Edit: Correction, the status is listed as "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" and that happened at 11:45pm on 4/21. No updates have been made since then. I wonder if it's sitting in their warehouse still or if it's on its way and just hasn't been updated yet. :-/

MAC has an alert out because a lot of people who ordered Ocean City blush were sent Sunset Beach instead, they (MAC rep's) answered the phone when I was calling in an order and told me, Quote directly: "We are aware of the problem with the blush" they said they are taking order numbers (and phone #s) and are waiting to see what the manufacture wants to do about it; apparently this is a HUGE occurrence.. wow

I think you should be fine?! sometimes things ship and they are packaged and all and then t takes a bit to just wait for ups to get them

Thoughts:

1) I cannot BELIEVE all these screw-ups. It truly seems like every single person who ordered just one blush got the wrong one, and the only people who even had a glimmer of a chance of getting the correct items in their order were those who ordered the same quantity of each blush.

2) I wish I had thought of having a separate non-Pro account so I could get the free overnight shipping!!

3) Since I did standard shipping, I will now have to wait until I'm guessing Friday to receive my (likely wrong) blush. I would consider going to the store the morning this releases to cover my bases and get my OC there just in case, but A) I don't want to pay $30 extra because MAC fucked up, and B) sounds like not a single store or counter got these anyway!!!

4) I agree with what others have said about how smoothly this launch seemed to go and how long the stock seemed to last (even the blushes weren't gone in the blink of an eye like some previous collections), and then this crazy mix-up happened for everyone. It's almost as if MAC didn't know what to do with themselves when they realized they had done something right, so they had an emergency conference call to figure out how they could still manage to screw everyone (including themselves) over. Unbelievable.

If I get the wrong blush, MAC had better cover the cost to ship it back to them, assuming they want me to send it back. Watch them try to refund me the cost like there had been a Pro discount instead of the full price we actually paid for it. Now I'm kicking myself because I hesitated whether or not this blush was worth getting in the first place, and I went for it. Looks like I should've skipped.

Here's a few quick swatches! I checked the labels and actually they are as what's listed on the website. Hope this is helpful. I swatched the blushes from the light and dark sections. Everything is beautiful.

My order was processed the same way. UPS has that message a lot so I'm not going to freak yet. I just figured it was because I didn't know about the shipping code when I ordered.
