Does MAC box the products in their warehouse (or storage area or wherever they keep the make up prior to shipping)? In other words where do you think the mistakes with the blushes happened- before or after the blushes arrived at the Mac warehouse?

when a friend of mine called, they told her it was the large box that was mislabeled. so 100 (or whatever is in a box) OC were in a larger box labeled SB and reversed. the actual box the blush comes in are all labeled correctly.

i ordered OC and SB separate.

my invoice to SB came with the OC Blush, and OC invoice with SB Blush, i know for sure because by the tracking number matching the order number as i left the receipts in the boxes. it's ok for those that ordered both, they received both even though they were switched. the only orders that were technically correct were those that ordered both in the same box.

Wow t went hard on sb blush its not that bad I only applied mines lightly but I could have apply more if I wanted to I liked it way better then some mac blushes I got that I had to stab rub take the top layer off and still didnt see any color flaming chic I'm talking about u lol

Has anyone gotten a response from Mac yet?
They replied to our tweet about the issue with a standard, "We're here to help!" template. I ordered my ocean city from Nordstrom when it was backordered to 5/2 but mine shipped today! Woohooo! I hope Nordstrom didn't have the same screw up that MAC did!

I ordered from Macy's too and was never worried about getting the wrong blush. The only thing I worry about with them is something being damaged because they're cheap and use those stupid bubble envelopes instead of boxes.
Have you had items arrive damaged? I've never had a problem (knocks on wood).

My makeup from them always comes in boxes. Only time I've received something in a bubble envelope is if it came from a actual store if it was out of stock at their packaging center.

People seem to be getting different answers on what MAC is going to do. One girl posted this in a facebook group, I'm not sure if shes a member of Specktra but her name is Ashleigh.

Yesterday when I called about the mix up the woman said my 'right' blushes would be shipped overnight to me and I would get it today. Needless to say, my blushes haven't come AND NOW the manager is saying no ones correct orders were re shipped, everything Proenza is halted. They are waiting on corporate to find out what they want to do and we should get a call in 24-48hrs! SMH! This is RIDICULOUS!! Apparently there was 300-500 customers affected.

I received the wrong blush also and just spoke to mac rep who said i probably won't get a response till early or mid next week.Hundreds of customers were effected. He didn't sound hopeful that we would get replacement blushes.More like everyone will get a refund
