I just called my local mac counters and the lippies are still available. I told myself to be strong and skip this collection and avoid mangrove but I keep thinking about it. I have scarlet ibis, sail la vie, red racer... Is it similar to those? Any other colors it's comparable to? I'm trying to talk myself out of it.

I got lady danger and will mix it with a liner. I'm not paying extra for this.

I was mailed Ocean City from MAC it got here today they said keep the Sunset Beach, it was well worth the wait OMG!! this is a beautiful blush! my faith is restored in MAC!!

did they send u a email that it was on the way I too got the wrong blush I was going to ask for a refund until mac send me the email saying they will try to send out a replacement honestly I want my blush that's why I didn't cancelled

You wont belive this but I got no call, no email! it was in the mail, mom said it came yesterday and she put it on the counter I just saw it this morning! this happened once before to me with UPS losing my Punk Couture entire collection

I called them and they confirmed UPS lost it and sent me the entire thing overnight even with lipsticks being sold out, me and MAC, we are good to go! faith restored!

No but they did this to me before with Punk Couture, they just sent it, like this, its very pretty so anyone waiting for it ..its worth it and you know MAC and Ombre blush these are rare and far in between years! keep them!!

Thank you! I'm wearing Primrose on top of a clear lipliner. I lined and completely filled in my lips using Urban Decay "Ozone" lipliner. Since the lustre formula is so sheer and slick, using this lipliner gives the lipstick something to grab onto. It also extended the wear like crazy. It stayed on until I ate cheap, greasy pizza with my muscle stud (nickname for my boyfriend). Thank you so much!

I've considered that clear one for a long time. sold! what a great idea!

Ugh WTF MAC!!!  I order Mangrove lipstick and instead I get a lipliner called High Energy.  Seriously?! :rants: :getyou:

That's so crazy that they just send it to you without notifying you. I signed up for UPS My Choice, so I would get a notification if anything was being shipped to my address. It's a great service, so you ladies should sign up for it if you order a lot of stuff. Sometimes I know something has shipped before I getting a shipping confirmation email from wherever I ordered.

I went to my PO to pick up my MAC Ocean City blush ombre today. Well, my receipt said Ocean City, but my box said Sunset Beach and walla it was indeed Sunset Beach. I called, the CS was so nice and explained what had happened. I was told to keep it and that they will send out Ocean City if they have enough, if not, they will refund my money. Darn it! This is really the first time MAC messed up my order. I am not too upset though. I do like the Sunset Beach blush.

I called them back after and they gave me the options of 1) waiting until next week to see if it could be replaced or 2) getting a refund. They also said either way I could keep SB. I opted for the refund since I already had OC.

Thanks! I hope they do because Mangrove is still available on the US site. I don't understand how they can confuse these things. I guess there's a first time for everything.

I have that service but I order constantly so I have a lot that say "fulfillment center" that's MAC from Louisville Ky where all the mishap happened, I never got notice from MAC as they said they would, plus they said it would the first of next week, thats not the case for me, I am betting there are a lot of people getting ready for the same deal to happen. The one thing I think it is involves paying people to call all these orders individually, rather than wasting manpower they are just sending it. thats what I would do.

i am really happy they've been reaching out to everyone. i got the refund and i used my card, not paypal as most people did- i called on thursday and it was back on my card this morning (saturday), for those of you who were wondering how long it might take.

so correct me if i am wrong- paypal takes a few hrs, cc/debit takes 2 daysish

Yep, it does. My boyfriend set it up for us, so I don't have a clue what all he did to get shipping notifications. One thing that I do hate about it though...my boyfriend always knows when I've ordered something, there are no surprises.

I can just hear him now... "Babe did you order something?" And of course I'll just smile and he will proceed to say "I bet it's makeup!" LOL he doesn't mind though and buys stuff for me all the time.
