MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

Personally, I don't think there is a dupe--I have pretty much every Mac lipstick remotely similar, and on my lips, RB is rather unique (of course lipstick pulls different colors on different lips).

RB is also more wearable and I wear it A LOT. Definitely not as bright as PB. If you love PB and Moxie, this is a MUST. No question.

I wish i had moxie, but i do love pleasure bomb, red balloon not so much. Just do not look right on me, without a liner. I left it alone

Any MAC dupes for Sweet Experience? I have I Like it Like That and Snob. Are they even close? I'm trying to skip it but you ladies make it look so purty.

Snob and Sweet experience looks similar enough on the lips, but I found my wet n wild think pink is damn near a dead on dupe for sweet experience.

Well you guys officially enabled me, I found Toying around & ordered. Since I don't wear l/s that much I'd figure it would be unique to me & pairing up with all my glosses. Hope it makes Live it up a tad better.

Yes! If you love both color + texture I' d definitely go for them

Those were my two favorites of the collection! They would probably look gorgeous on you Singer82.

There are a lot of good swatches and pics now, so if you think those are colors you would wear and love, I definitely say go for it (especially since you already love the formula). I am probably not done with this collection either --lol!

That's too bad! I really love RB, but clearly not every lipstick works on everyone. Hope that you fell in love with another one

In case anyone hasn't noticed, these lipsticks (including PL) are restocked on Nordies. My HGL and SE that were back ordered shipped yesterday so they must really have gotten restocked

GAT is just slightly darker, not very noticeable on the lips. Full Fuschia is also very similar. I never would have thought these would be similar. I thought Red Balloon had more red in it than those. All of those are Amplifieds, too. I see you got an answer already about Pleasure Bomb. Despite knowing that I have dupes, I'm still glad that I got Red Balloon. My others are years old so RB is creamier and it's new!

I am hearing Maybeline's vivid rose.

I have both, and I have to say that RB is more subdued and deeper, Vivid Rose is more intense/ bright.

I'm peeved. My order with Playland lipstick, Brightside Lipglass, and Pure Zen lipstick somehow did not make it to my house. This hasn't happened before. Do i complain to UPS or to MAC? Playland and Brightside are pretty much sold out everywhere! Aargh!I

I had this happen to me, ups really didn't care! just call mac! mac replace my items but they wasn't sold out. they may have to refund you!!
