After many comments about how bad the pigmentation of ocean city is, I decided to try it on.

. It's VERY Pigmented, as you can see in the pic I ended up with too much on my cheeks. I'm gonna try to use less when I use it next time with a full makeup face. Please forgive the state of my lips, I had a very bad fever last week and they are still healing. I also have No makeup on just the blush.

I'm OBSESSED with Ocean City. I've officially worn it every day for a week straight, and I never do that!

My hair used to be Straight, But as i Grew up it got Thick and Wavy.
Its very easy since i dont have to do anything to it but sometimes i look like a Witch if i dont Brush it Properly.

For me, an ombré blush is several colors in one, so no single blush will duplicate them - i don't just swirl it all together.

There seem to be inconsistencies in the blushes. Some don't give up their colors easily. Christine of Temptalia had a Sunset Beach like that and gave it an F, and sadly you got a bad one, too, LadyDanger. Sounds like a manufacturing quality control issue to me. I get the impression that more are good than are bad, "but when they're bad they're horrid".

I have both Ocean City and Sunset Beach and both are quite easy to work with and deliver great colors. I haven't put my fingers in my blushes, i've just used a cheap Sonia Kushak fluffy powder brush, controlling where on the brush i got the color and where i put it on my cheeks. I've had no trouble picking up a lot of color from both blushes.

I'd already worn Ocean City several times and love it. But today is the first time i tried my Sunset Beach. I was worried because several people had trouble with theirs. Mine was very easy to get color from. I put the lighter tan-pink on top of my cheek bones and the richer pink on and a tad under my cheek bones. The color was pretty strong, so i had to buff it out a bit more than Ocean City.

In order to be able to wear such a strong pink, i did a full face makeup today, which i normally don't wear. After all my skin care, some foundation primer on my "hot spots", concealer, foundation, and finishing powder. Then Sunset Beach. Because i'd matte powdered my face too much, I put some more eye cream under my eyes - powder under my eyes makes them look like the Gobi Desert. Then I topped my cheek bones with Chanel Poudre Douce in Lilas, and dusted some Gareth Pugh Elude on the apples of my cheeks, nose, and above my eyebrows to add back some light reflection.

I curled my lashes, only a little mascara just to darken them, lined my brows with MAC Strawberry Blonde eyebrow pencil, MAC Until Dawn e/s: the gold on my lids and the plum-taupe in the crease, and lined my eyes with Urban Decay Bourbon pencil. Then on my lips only MAC Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm in Nice & Simple which, besides feeling great, really shows up well - it's a sheer gold bronze with plenty of shimmering pearl - I'm starting to wish i'd gotten a backup.

I'm sorry you got a dud. WIth all the production problems and the shipping problems MAC is having with the ombrés, you probably can't get a replacement.

Modern Mandarin.
Modern Mandarin is orange. Sunset Beach is hot pink. You must have been thinking of Ocean City, mousygiggles...

Booo. I ordered the day it went up and that happened to me too.

Bummer. Did you - or anybody else - inquire Nordies why they cancelled so many orders?
Nordies does that on a lot of collections, not just MAC. I was told they sometimes sell before they receive the products and just cancel whatever they can not fill. It's actually quite annoying as many times you can wait over a week before you find out it's not going to be processed. One time i received a cancellation notice and the item was still online so i reordered it. It was cancelled a 2nd time 4 days later. Why wouldn't they just remove it?

. It's VERY Pigmented, as you can see in the pic I ended up with too much on my cheeks. I'm gonna try to use less when I use it next time with a full makeup face. Please forgive the state of my lips, I had a very bad fever last week and they are still healing. I also have No makeup on just the blush.
It looks great on you. And I agree with everyone; your hair is so pretty!
