MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

So don't laugh but I didn't buy anything. I went online while everything was still up, put a bunch of things in my cart and then turned off my computer... I had asked my friend/Mac sales assistant to put aside a few items she thought I would like (including the purple products). I was second guessing this and figured i would buy stuff online...like ALL the shadows -LOL...but decided not to cave into the frenzy. I'm going to just have faith that she is able to do it successfully and guage my taste well enough. It means waiting longer to get my stuff and a little bit of uncertainty, but summer collections are a major vice for me and I am trying to curb my spending. Anyway I hope you all got what you wanted from the collection or are able to with the launches at Nordstrom etc... And looking forward to seeing everybody's swatches and pics on here in the coming days! :)

Lol its always like that with a launch. You get stages... first happiness, then irritation after it takes awhile to come up, it launches... again happiness at first then as stuff starts to sell out people freak out a bit. But don't fret everyone. There's other stores plus they will probably restock later.

I just did a map search, and I will be passing by a store with a counter off of I-95 that day, so I guess I will have to try that and hope it's not gone by the time I get there.

So frustrating. The ONE time a year that I can't get to the store for a collection (due to vacation), this happens.

Maybe call the store ahead of time, explain your situation, and if you are lucky they will put it on hold. Fingers crossed.

How do you put a hold on delivery with UPS? I've never done that before, didn't even know you could. TIA.

I'm startled too because I was sound asleep then I got up and ran.

So irritated , had a conference call, ( gotta work to buy the makeup LOL ) so turned away for a few minutes and when I came back the blushes and bronzer I wanted were gone. I actually prefer to order from Nordies but I hate the whole stalking thing so I got a few things I wanted but I will be stalking Nordies now for my blushes!

The vultures do not stalk Macy's and Nordie's as bad because they can't use their fake A#$ Pro discount. There are still some that do, but not as many. Good luck there!

Just go online or call em up and place a hold. Easy peasy.

^ I feel the same way. Honestly I only remember after the Surprise meeting this morning myself. I happy I gold the Golden Compact but I feel like I would be majorly upset with the massive Haiul I'm planning for Osbournes. Then again if the Osbourne lipsticks sell out I might as well buy from Lime Crime instead. lol
