Me too. Someone hash a chat saying the 19th. My local stores are having events on the 29-31. Like they will stay till then.

My local store is also having an event around that time. Sorry but I am not taking the chance to wait that long to check this collection out. No way honey!!

Grrr I'm pretty mad. I haven't stalked a collection on release date since MM. All I wanted was Mystical and Aphrodite's Shell I kept checking all morning, but I had a meeting 9:30-10:30, and it wasn't out yet when I had to leave. When I came back, Mystical was the one thing already sold out So I ended up getting Goddess of the Sea just for the heck of it, and AS. It's gonna be tough getting Mystical from the in store release, because all we have in Canada is MAC Stores and The Bay, and The Bay doesn't even sell MAC online. I can't get to either stpre until after work, at which time it may already be sold out

As for not posting lists due to ebay lurkers - girls, I hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure that the people selling hot collections on ebay are fellow makeup addicts. They're the ones in the know. I'm sure many Specktrettes tend to pickup extras of the hot lippies, whether it's for backups or other. We create the hype all for ourselves, and we're the reason they sell out. As much as MAC may be the center of the universe for some of us, for the rest of the world it's not even a blip on their radar.

Ok, so I just talked to mac chat and they are saying in stores on the 22nd. But I also saw that someone said that mac chat said the 19th. Any more confirmations?

I spoke with MAC chat a couple days ago and they told me the 19th and other people were being told the same thing. I hate that MAC keeps confusing its customers (and apparently its employees) this way.

i have two packages bc i had to pay for one with paypal. my lipsticks shipped, my bronzer didnt :shock:

Thanks to my wonderful friend, I was able to score some goodies! Still waiting in my shipping I'm not worried yet. Maleficent didn't tell me it shipped until it was out for delivery. I will help you find your bronzer!

Paying by Paypal makes me so nervous. I know others never have a problem but with my luck I'm sure something will go wrong

not to scare anyone, but Paypal has been sued more than any financial "institution" for their shenanigans. They take your money, they hold it, they don't pay the other guy or company for a few days.. they charge money which they shouldn't.. it's usally in pennies and nickels.. and they can sometimes "withold" money from you for no good reason. They are the judge and the jury. In situations like this, where MAC wants immediate payment, if Paypal drops the ball, you might have a delay in getting your goodies or not getting them at all. This might be the exception and not the rule. Just a caveat.

I had an ongoing war with them which lasted 9 months -- they took money and froze my account because one of my thieving cousins used my account without my knowledge. It was finally worked out after one year. I refuse to deal with them.

i'm in chicago and i kno that one of the mac pro stores will launch this collection on wednesday the 21st...the others are 22nd, and the macys said 29. wierd how theyre all over the place,

Me too, I have had orders cancelled for no reason when I use PayPal. Hopefully it won't be the case this time, but I have to go in store for some things anyway.

I remember when Mac first implemented Paypal there were a lot of issues about orders not going through etc so I'm always too scared to use it with them too! My card actually wasn't saved on the Mac site this morning for some reason and I was like ah!! had to run to get it and enter the info super quick I was so afraid things were going to sell out while I was typing it in

Oh gosh, I'm sorry you have been having to deal with that. I am definitely going to look into them a bit more and possibly get rid of my account. I think I'd rather deal with my own bank (they are a local credit union) than deal with PayPal if something happened to my money.
