Here are some pics and swatches - I'm NC45 for reference...




I ordered Delphic, LL & FD



Here is Delphic compared to my fave MAC Skin finish natural powder in Medium deep... They are almost EXACT in color - Delphic has a little more red to it tho... It is a bronzer after all lol Only thing is when swatching, it blends so well into my skin tone you cant even tell it's there.

Top to bottom:

Delphic Bronzer - I SWEAR I swatched it even though you cant see it!
FD EDES (I PROMISE THE PIC DOES NOT DO THIS EYE SHADOW JUSTICE!!! I'm Getting BU's Next week)
LL EDES (Gorgeous and will mos def be going in my kit)

SS has been sold out in the UK for quite some time. I might pick up another lipglass when I get paid in 2 weeks... See what happens

[@]Lipsnliner[/@] Thanks for the swatches and for comparing Delphic to Medium Deep MSFN! My mom uses that one as a bronzer everyday so I might buy Delphic for her :D

Thank you! Now I don't even have to swatch Delphic because I see that it will likely be ashy on me or it won't show at all.

My order arrived. I like GotS; it's a great wearable purple that's red enough to be office friendly. It's much closer to what I was hoping for with Private Party (old lady shade on me). Good purchase. Mystical is ok. It's a nice, wearable everyday shade and I'm sure I'll wear it. It is anything special? Nope.

Are either of these shades worthy of giving up sleep, mowing down children in strollers and small animals to be first in line on launch day in store? Definitely not. They're nice enough, but nothing special, IMO. No need to rip hair out if they're missed. Sounds like the e/s are more special in this collection, but these are not.

Thank you Audrey! I don't feel bad about skipping the e/s and now I am having second thoughts about Mystical too. I guess I am only getting AS from this collection :)

I haven't lost any sleep over a MAC collection since Archie's. First and only time - and once was one time too many.

I know ---what is happening to people's language skills nowadays! (this coming from an English prof mind you, but uggggg)!!!

Allura is great! If my memory is correct, she has delphic and loves it! Love her too!

I admit that what I type on here is not how I really speak or write. It is so hard to convey (not convrey, I really DO NEED GLASSES for mt iphone use) emotion, inflection, all of that stuff on here and sometime breaking the rules is the only way to get it done. I fought it but it works and gives posts character. At least to me it does.

Of course they're swamped. It's the big summer collection, not only did people race out in droves to buy but many placed a second order as well. Actual human beings work there and I'm sure they do their best to power through shipments as fast as they can. Fed Ex pickup for next day shipping is usually pretty early. I got my shipping notification in the very early afternoon yesterday.

I clearly have different standards than many. Free express shipping - one package got to Vancouver overnight no less - more than meets my expectations. They make it clear that they need processing time as well. Getting a product ready for shipment within hours (even if not quite early enough to meet the pickup) on a very busy launch day is entirely reasonable. Better than what I typically get from Sephora, I might add.

I get that everyone here is excited to get their new pretties, but I'm about to cue the 'call the Wahbulance' speech. ;)

I know! I mean English is not my first language but even I know how to pronounce Aphrodite :/
