Anyone notice anything different about the color collection forum? The official announcement is coming tonight, but I wanted to share with you guys that we were able to get Huddler to restrict this forum to signed in members only.

So I know it's not going to solve the TM problem but we are doing what we can to limit it.

I worked hard to make this happen so let's hope it doesn't come back to haunt me somehow.

Welcome to Specktra!! I understand what you're saying about being a guest. Kristin explained it very well. We get great advance info and photos here thanks to some members who have connections and/or who do a lot of online sleuthing. We really appreciate it and let them know we do. But when anonymous users take the info and put it online with their name on it, it is frustrating for the members who have done the actual work to get it. This is a great community and I think you'll be glad that you joined! We have fun here.

I like nudes if they're creamy/smooth in texture, or a little frost, but nude mattes look weird on me. I always end up putting a gloss over them so I'm not buying them anymore. I used to like the look so maybe it's just a phase.

You need the perfect nudes in the first place and then to use a matte one on top of it, it needs to be even more perfect. Runway Hit and Riot House work perfectly for me, but they're not exactly nude. Cozy Up is nuder, but also in the same zone and that works too, but I couldn't get into the Kelly Osbourne nude…Pander Me sounds nice here, but if it's more brown than Runway Hit, it might not be for me.

One main thing is your skin needs to be perfected just so with a nude matte - evened out, but not heavily covered and with a little natural dewiness. It's always a pretty dramatic look, though.

Thank you for all of your work on this!! It will instantly solve the TM problem, but it will help it. Anything that makes it a little more difficult will make a difference. You rock, MonikaRose!

Well, I swapped with a fellow Specktrette for Riri Boy which is my HG color. So we were both happy!

I know, I know. Believe me, I sooooooooo damn know. I've looked for it everywhere since. It's been my one BIG makeup regret. It's just that when mac customer service told me it was back ordered and wouldn't ship out for a month I got so pissed off after the waiting room crap I told them to just cancel it. I am too impatient and it came back to bite me in the ass big time.

FB will go great with FR, Beet with DG and Soar with NV.

Is FR that purple? I assumed it would have more pink/red tones than that from the raspberry description. Always interested in expending my purple stash so that's cool. I'm happy to hear that NV is muted enough to pair with Soar.

Hmm.. I wonder if NV will be similar to pink plaid..?

I may add another liner to my list. I've never tried or bought any of the PLWLP so which other should I get?

I think someone said this already, but I have to second that advice and say you need all of them! I have all but 3 (I think) and they are one of my favorite products ever from any brand.
