Matted down? I've never done that to a lipstick. How do you do that?
The easiest and quickest way is probably to blot with tissue and then apply a transparent face powder over the top of the tissue with a powder brush. It'll make the lippy look matte and the tissue over top helps keep it from looking like you put flour on top of your lips. HTH :)

Do you know if that will work on an Amplified finish. Or, is that finish too creamy?..... But, thanks for telling me, I'm going to try it. I just have to get some transparent powder.

I don't see why it wouldn't. I can't remember if I've tried it over one before. I'm curious now though, so maybe I'll try it tonight with Up the Amp.
