They do this on tutorials when duplicating certain looks. They don't do this on the daily.
You're right, they don't do it on the daily. They DO do it for personal use sometimes, though. I've heard them say they do it when they are feeling a bit pale and I've heard them talk about doing it while on holiday and such. Definitely something you want to go subtle with, though, or it will be much too obvious.

I think dark lips on pale people can look STUNNING. I'm pale too and I like certain darker shades, depending on their undertone, but I haven't found a single bright shade I can handle yet! A lot of it depends on your skin tone and other features like eye or hair color. Plus other people might hate how something looks but you might try it on and love it!
Yes, I think undertone is very important, and hair as well. Dark colors can look gorgeous on fair skin, especially fair people with dark hair. I personally like dark shades on pretty much everyone, though, as long as the undertone is flattering. My hair is dishwater blonde and I love deep maroon shades on me, so yeah.

Thnx homegirl, hope your talking about VG Rhianna & not the bronze or pink look lmfao! Geez, dnt you think I could pull that off too;-) lol But I think I'd like the lippie paired with the lipglass.

I can't wait for this l/s and l/g, color of l/s reminds me of my old fav XTC. I am a pale one too but as long as the color is bright or shiny it works for me.
I NEED color, those pale/no colors lippies make me disappear.
I don't have much trouble with my glosses changing except for my dazzleglass Funtabulous, it smells almost floral/rose and it has happened with more than 1 tube.
Maybe it is the pigments in it?!?!?!

I think you can get away with a slightly darker foundation shade to tan yourself up a touch if you use a light coverage foundation and blend well down your neck. The Pixiwoo girls do this frequently and I think it looks totally fine. Of course, that's a matter of personal taste.
IMO it's better to stick with your shade and add warmth with bronzers.

YES! Drives me nuts when I see people do this. If I'm between shades I always go lighter..

I'm not a huge fan of it, either. I mean, I never do it, personally. I'd rather add a little bronzer if I need to, also, but I rarely ever reach for that, either. I'd rather just be pale. That's just a personal choice for my own style, though. It's not an offense to my eyes or anything when other people wear their foundation darker or bronze themselves up, though lol. I'm just not a fan of placing too many hard and fast rules on makeup choices or application. Most of the rules change with time, anyway, even when we think there are some rules that should never be broken. Our makeup choices represent us, and if doing something that makes other people cringe makes you feel good, then go for it! If you want to rock blue lips, then you should! If you want to wear 10 coats of mascara, go for it. If you are pale and want to convince yourself that you are a bronze goddess lol, then do that. It should all just be enjoyed.

Lol I could swear MAC changed the description of the l/s from warm to cool (or vice versa, can't remember now lol) I like how it looks more brown than mauve, I can not pull off mauve lol

As for the lipstick, it's growing on me for sure, I've come to appreciate its uniqueness.
The lipglass had me at hello!
