I went into my mac counter with all but my blush on so I could try on animal instinct. I asked the mac lady to put it on me and she put in on so heavily. It looked so muddy. It looked horrible, so I asked her to blend it out. Instead of blending it out with a brush with no product she blended it with a white powder. I think she used a msf. I looked so cakey. They are suppose to be pros at putting on makeup. Has anyone else had an exprience similar to this?

Sadly MAC now hires people with no makeup experience whatsoever, both for freelance and for permanent positions. This means that people who have no idea what the hell they're doing makeup-wise are working in peoples' faces. S Sorry that happened to you

Maybe because GK is a matte and Red Balloon isn't? That was my reason! On these hot humid days I wear my mattes!

Same! And personally I find that they are different shades---at least on my lips! :haha: I cannot tell you how much I LOVE GK! The matte formula this time around is amazing! Makes me super excited for the Matte collection!

It really looks gorgeous on you! It can take the right mood to wear colors like this. On days when I want to keep to myself I wear subtle colors. On days/nights when I want to look sophisticated or just unique, I wear these colors!
