MAC Artificially Wild Collection (Sept 4, 2014)

I wasn't interested in anything except perhaps Pink Cult blush, but the eyeshadows are very pretty and unusual, normally I am not a neutral person but I have been drawn to neutrals more often lately. The lipsticks are definitely not for me.

Aw that's too bad. I felt like that all up to the ANR release. I think this collection won't sell out as fast as others so you probably have some time to think about it. I know I'm going to get Artificial Earth e/s and Pink Cult blush and that is it. This is oddly the only collection I haven't gone back and forth on. Mostly because a lot of it doesn't appeal to me. Do you still like the shadows?

Agreed. It won't sell out as fast or ever..maybe just Pink Cult will sell fast though. Sounds like a short simple list. Easy to get too. I do like the shadows still. But glancing through my stash, I see maybe dupes for at least 2 maybe 3 :dunno: But I have to be more cautious with my buys. I'm thinking maybe Marsh and idk :sigh:

Well, the CCBs might not dry down is how I read her review. I don't wear them on eyes, so I'm okay with that. Also, Riri Diamonds didn't dry down well for me either but I loooooooove it on my upper cheekbones. It's all "know before you buy" I suppose.

I'm guessing over the next four months, MAC will have plenty more for you to love. So it's okay if you don't find something here that grabs you.

Yeah I understand being more cautious as well, so far it's only sort of working. There is just way too much holiday stuff I want from more than just MAC and these fall collections are less impressive then I though they would be. Although I'll probably go all out with RHPS. But if Marsh is all you want then that's all you need to get. Maybe go swatch in store just to make sure. No need to feel guilty for not buying anything.

Sort of working is better than saying you tried and couldn't. You know like that saying, something is better than nothing. I understand what you mean, there are so many lovely things coming out. You and I will be in the same boat with RHPS. Oh and the matte collection too. How do you feel about those? You have a point. I'll more than likely swatch in store to be safe. That and I could b2m for Marsh too. I'd rather be sure and take the extra trip, than buy and pray I like it.

Lol I know, I hadn't seen you around in a while. Next to skin seems like it could be used for multiple things. So for a lovely pale gal like yourself it is a good buy imo. The eyeshadows are all very pretty, I agree.

Haha that's true. I am partially succeeding!
RHPS is going to be crazy for a lot of us.
I'm actually not feeling too crazy for the matte collection. My only definite is Fashion Revival, DG and LL are maybes and I'm not interested in anything else. I'm especially worried about LL because I did not like LK on me, too much black in the base. So I hope they're different.
I think in store swatching is the best way to go, especially if you can b2m for something. I hate buyer's remorse, better to go to the store than buy blind if you're unsure. Learned my lesson about that with LK.
