MAC Artificially Wild Collection (Sept 4, 2014)

Wondering how quickly these e/s will sell out, or if I will have time to swatch IRL first. I guess I could hope for some swatches...

I would like more swatches of the e/s too

I am trying hard to talk myself out of Marsh b/c I am pretty sure I have SOMETHING similar but that EOTD look in the gallery has me thinking I NEED it. I know I need the others because of an obsessive need to have all greys, taupes, beiges, tans, and ochres and because the mauve one, sounds, mauve--loous

I feel the same as you. Maybe Marsh will be a pleasant surprise for you. I'm pretty sure I have all the colors already. But out of all of them I am having a hard time talking myself out of Marsh :sigh:

Actualy I loved all the eyshadows esp AE, Marsh & Stony! And I dont have a ton of dupes for the shades too! I just dont feel like adding to the e/s stash and dropping $50 for 3 shades!!

EDIT: If only they had made a quad out of it at $40, this would have been a definite buy from the collection!!

Thats a good idea! I really like AE and Stony! A quad would have been awesome.

A single shade at $16 is fine. But if I am going to get multiples like 4, then at $16 I really do care about the pricing point! I mean at $64 + tax for 4 MAC shadows - nope, I prefer Palettes anyday!!

My MA loved Marsh, especially the finish. The one I was going to skip was AE but she said it was her favourite.

I thought Taupe blush/contour was permanent? I wanted to have it in a palett. And not have to pay for the packaging

I still want all the eyeshadows though. If I buy them in Norway they would be 25$ or more, so don't mind the 16$ pricetag. I just hate the depotting. I'm always worried I'm going to break the eyeshadow.

Since you mentioned depotting shadows, can anyone explain to me the use of magnets? If you use the palettes and the inserts are the pans not secure?

The use of the magnets are to ensure they are tightly secure in the palettes and inserts.

But I can't find it online. I know it was perm before. But it isn't with the pro sculpting or shaping powders, or with the blushes. And I don't find it with searching. Do you have a link for it?

I see you are located in Norway, so not sure which site you're looking on. It's missing on the german site as well, so I was thinking it might not be perm in (some) european countries, or maybe it's in stores only.

I'm actually having the same problem finding it online on the US website. T mentioned this in her review, "This used to be part of the Pro range, but I didn’t see it on MAC’s site", so I'm guessing that is why she has it as LE on her website.

Yep, I don't see it. T's review mentioned that it wasn't up on the mac site. Hopefully its not DC!

Well, sneaky MAC is not going to lure me into buying the compact. I just want the cheaper pro pan, so I don't have to depot. Hopefully it will be back.
