For the fluidlines are we supposed to be able to retract the product back down into the pencil?  Or is it meant to just swivel up and not back down?  I don't know if mine is busted since I ordered online and haven't seen them in person to test them all out.  

No, the fluidline pencils DO NOT twist back down. So be careful how far up you twist them.

Love the gloss, the e/s is a little bit meh. Applied it with fingers on bare skin but tried with brushes on bare/primed skin and with fingers on primed skin aswell. Like Mac's regular E/S better.

I totally skipped it. I have Heartless. Purpley colors like Lingering Kiss, O, Plum Dandy & Fluid look much better on me than the brick-reds

I will if I remember once I get home. I've worn Superwatt pretty much all week and it does remind me of Woodwinked. I love the fact I can just apply it with my finger and then throw on some eyelinrer and mascara.
