MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2 (Sept 11, 2014)

Did you put it on with a full face of makeup? Some lippies only show well with a full face of makeup on. I know that can be a hassle, but you may like it that way if you haven't tried it that way yet.

This just ran through my mind but, Has anyone ever thought that maybe Rihanna catered/developed the lipsticks she did with MAC around her best friend's (Melissa) skintone? Please dont think that I am crazy in speaking about this but its funny how some of these lippies look better on her friend than it does on her. And she ALWAYS speaking/writing about how much she loves her BFF. These lippies do look great on many skintones but they seem to me made for someone of a deeper tone like her friend. Hey, I don't mind because I am around that same complexion but it was something that came across my mind when a pic of them popped up with her friend wearing her lippie.

Yes I did and it still looked awful. I'm super disappointed with it!

I was just thinking the same thing. If that's the case I definitely appreciate it as I love the color against my nc45 skintone. My husband loves it on me and after he saw it on me yesterday he went back to MAC to pick up a second lipstick and lipglass this morning. With the right liner just about any skintone can rock the VG2 duo.

I'm sorry to hear that it not working for you. But I have seen people rock it so many different lipliners and they start to love it if they didn't originally. I have heard people using anywhere from fashion boost to nightmoth so far. I hope you find a way to rock it to your liking.

:agree: So far I've used nightmoth, vino and stone. Nightmoth is my favorite.

Im super pumped to try this lipstick. I have always thought that it would pair well with Stone liner. Great combo as seen in this pic!

My bf also saided he like it on me too and he is hard pressed to like any color but he commented that he like my lipstick I was wearing yay because trust me if it was foul looking he would had no problem telling me so lol I love this combo and add nightmoth to the mix its love I dunno but this may be my birthday lipstick

Photos do not do it justice at all! I love the lipstick (surprisingly) and the lipglass, but I actually don't like them together, only separately. The lipglass on top of it ruins the lippy for me quite a bit... it's such a unique colour that I'm really considering getting a back up or two of both! And why not help out a great cause too!?
