Definitely gonna have to try this combination. It sounds really pretty!
The red in the gloss plays really well with the mauve of the lipstick! I'm glad I decided to swing by the counter while at the mall with my niece the other day, I'm totally in love with it even straight from the tube!

I love the combo of the gloss and the lipstick, but it is def a nude look on me. Wearing both while visiting the White House last weekend.

This looks gorgeous on everyone so far! However, I'm coming to terms with the fact that I have very yellow undertones...and I'm not sure how a color like this would work on me.

It would be great for layering though, especially in the fall--I've heard people say that this color will be a hard sell, but if Urban Decay could do the sheer gray lipstick some years ago with "Oil Slick", I'm sure MAC can make it an easy sell in the current state of things.

I have very yellow undertones as well, but when I tried it on this past Sunday I fell in love with this lippy!

Thank you! That's good to know! <3 I'm usually of the mindset that it's HOW you wear a color, and not your skin tone, that affects how a color looks on you--but with all of the crazy new shades that are coming out lately, I'm getting a little timid.

I'm usually in that mindset as well, but sometimes things really do just clash. I'd say if you have a store or counter near by to pop on over and try it on!
