I got my package yesterday (yay

) with "La Vie En Rouge," "Pander Me," "Fashion Revival," and "Styled in Sepia." Well, my mom had picked out "Pander Me" and I ordered the rest, but since her birthday is today I let her try them all and pick one. Turns out she really didn't like PM and ended up picking LVER, which was the one I was looking forward to the most LOL. In a way, though, I guess it all works out (I tell myself) since I bought "Grace" Audacious lipstick just a few days ago.

I did swatch the two on my hand and "Grace" looks a hair redder. Likewise, LVER is a hair more orange. Neither looks like my beloved "Toying Around," or I'd be ordering my own LVER right now, no questions asked. But the mattes in this collection are sooo lovely. I wore "Fashion Revival" last night and it was indeed a matte, plus it was comfortable like the mattes from ANR.

I DID notice, however, that FR and Wet 'n Wild's "Sugar Plum Fairy" are nearly identical on me (NC15-20). SPF (lol) might be a teensy bit redder/less matte, but yeah. Barely noticeable difference. I only used my SPF once so I gave it to my mom, since she thought FR was okay.

I might try her LVER today just to see how it looks...and decide if I should just part ways with it or buy one for myself. If it doesn't have much pink in it once I put it on, it'll be an easy farewell.
