I tested it out today and it was glorious. That beautiful glowy photoshop effect.

The major downside is the amount of... or lack of balls you get. I got my permanent line meteorities before they dropped down in size so this is the first one I got after the downsize.
It looks like I'm going to have to reserve this for my most special moments, which is a real bummer cause pretties are meant to be worn.

I'm really disappointed at the small amount. *cries*

Yes, I felt that way at first, but I don't think I'll ever use one up, so it's okay. I have one from a few years back that I use quite regularly, and I swear it looks the same as it did when I first got it. It just hurts to pay the same price for so much less.

I still think there is several years worth in the tin; they went from 30g to 25g. It sucks that the price went up, but it's not like it's half the quantity (hello MAC mini-EDES e/s). There's still plenty in there. :)

Sorry to hear they sold out - any chance they'll get more when the stores get the stock? I'm actually surprised they lasted as long as they did - early last week when I called they said they were down to about 200 sets.

It will be available at Nordies sometime in November, hoping for a sephora restock. if not, I'll just check them in stores or stalk other retailers.

I was hoping to wait for a 20% off code for the sake of saving $12 (lol) plus Ebates savings but it's ok. I just hate that you can't see stores' inventory once something sells out. Luckily there is no shortage of Guerlain-carrying Sephoras near me! I'm going to call them all tomorrow and get me my balls this weekend. I'm way too impatient now!

Depending on my (inevitable) love for these, do you guys have any recommendations for other balls?

I thought it was going to last until VIB sales. I'm sure nordies and other retailers will have them soon though. Temptalia has the release date as October.

How long do your meteorite balls last for you?

I think my 30g one lasted me about 3 years but I'm not sure when exactly I got it and I didn't start wearing makeup everyday until recent.

I do have my Dore and love it! I use it as an all over face powder instead of wearing foundation. My sephora here doesn't carry Guerlain stuff. I'll call from other states tomorrow.

Anyone else noticing problems with the Nordstrom website? For instance, I click on a product, and it says page is not available, or I just clicked on the UD Naked 3 palette, and got a men's leather motorcycle jacket...???!!!

My gut was telling me that these would sell out super quick.They probably won't do a restock on these as they are LE. Another alternative is Dore from the permanent line but it isn't as warm as D'etoile.On my skin (nc45) it acts as a brightener while the LE one adds warmth. Some other retailers to stalk...Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordies, Dillards, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales.

Y'all will be able to get them from other retailers. I know the lady who helps me at Neiman's said they should be in store by the end of the month. She took my number down to call me. I'm sure y'all can have someone at a counter give you a call if Sephora ends up failing you! Also, I'm supposed to get my balls tomorrow. Never been so excited for balls!

Good feedback, thanks. I wish I had the LE ones to compare. I've never noticed much of anything with the Dore.
