That's a good idea! Thanks for the swatch! Sad it isn't a Matte Frost but I think I'll get it anyway, it looks pretty. Maybe I'll try mixing it with Playland to get some of that promised gold shimmer in there.

It doesn't seem to lean cool or warm. It seems to be neutral true red.Oh thank you thank you thank you! That would be much appreciated if you can! Also, does SoR lean warm or cool toned to you?
No problem gorgeous! What's funny is I was looking for you under heather and couldn't find you lol. Then I remembered you go by BrainsAndBeauty! I adore your reviewsThanks for the shout out, Dolly! Here's some swatch spam from my Instagram for you ladies & gents:M•A•C Heirloom Mix Lipstick in "Sparks of Romance" is described as a matte frost red with gold shimmer. The description sounds so promising; however, I'm sad to say that it is simply a matte, red lipstick. There is no frost. The shimmer is ridiculously subtle. You can only kind of see it if you stick your face right up to it. Am I disappointed? Absolutely not! It's still a beautiful lipstick. The description is simply misleading. Matte lipstick lovers will want to add this to their collection.
M•A•C Heirloom Mix Pressed Pigment in "Enchantment" is described as a violet with blue violet sparkles. It's definitely difficult to capture how pretty this really is with my iPhone. Pressed pigments can be a little tricky to work with. It's better if you think of them not as eyeshadows but, well... pigments. This swatches terribly with my finger. A dry eyeshadow brush was only slightly better. When I scraped a little off, mixed it with Fix+ and applied it with a damp eyeshadow brush, I achieved a nice foiled look. I found it actually applied best to my lids using just my finger. I totally overthought it. Using just my finger to apply the pressed pigment to my lid allowed it to be just as pigmented as it is in the pan! People who enjoy sheer eyeshadow looks will like this item. People who don't want to work for their pigmentation or use their fingers, steer clear!![]()
I meant to respond earlier. LOL! Thanks dears!it!![]()

It is sold as a Matte lipstick via box.
Sadly it has no shimmer or frosty quality. It is a standard matte red lipstick.

Sparks of Romance️️ it looks AMAZING! Thank u for the swatch. I was getting a little iffy about it thinking it was just another red lipstick BUT it looks devine and I MUST get it and yes pressed piggies always work better with the finger ️ LolThanks for the shout out, Dolly! I honestly don't know. I think once we have a username we're stuck with it. Lol! We might have to contact one of the mods to change it?How do you do that anyway? I've looked all over this site trying to find it. Sad thing is, it's probably right in front of my face.
You're welcome for the swatches! SoR is such a lovely shade of red. If you love red mattes, you'll want this one. Pressed piggies work best with fingers lesson learned! Lol! I also like the fact that that means there is now one less makeup brush that I have to clean later.Sparks of Romance️️ it looks AMAZING! Thank u for the swatch. Nice collection, I might get one of the lipsticks. I do hope trend thief asked you if he/she could use your pic...
Of course, Trend Thief didn't ask. But she did actually use my IG pic with the watermark and gave me credit in the caption; therefore, no permission required as far as I'm concerned. If she had removed the watermark and passed the pic off as her own, then I would be pissed. But she didn't, so it's all good... for now.Nice collection, I might get one of the lipsticks.
