those full size pigments take forever to use up, and ive stopped buying them.. due to this reason unlesS if it is a very unique color. i think pigment sets are good value for money and more practical .... as U get more colors in a set

Jealous! I went with Rose, Gold, and Bronze.  Skipped Blue and all of the Gloss Sets. I've found I always have good intentions to wear glosses but I don't.  I've been a matte lip girl lately.  I blame this forum!
This is me all day. I only own 4/5 glosses everything else is Matte and a a few Satins. I regret my Cremesheens from A Fantasy of Flowers purchases
Haha I actually own quite a few pigments... MAC, MUG, and Sugarpill.  I don't use them all that often but when you're looking for that super pretty foiled effect they are the best. I do recommend the Too Faced Glitter Glue.  Works WONDERS for pigments.  Especially Rose.  Really makes it stick and stay.  I think Sephora has their own version now? 24hr Glitter Glue or something? I haven't used it but plan on trying that one when my TFGG runs out. Edit: the Sephora version is called Glitterguard
off to google this "foil" thing... and thanks for the tip on the glue. :)

They are a very practical buy for sure. The value is great.

Foiling is applying a pigment wet. You can use water, or fix plus, or mixing medium, or eyedrops... really whatever you want to use. I tend to use either water or setting spray. Really intensifies the look of the pigment. Note: this doesn't work well with matte pigments =]

eta: I don't foil with the glitter glue. The glitter glue really intensifies the pigments without wetting them.

eta (some more): the glitter glue is sticky. I find the best way to use it is to use a regular primer (if necessary), do ALL your crease work... apply your transition etc. Pat the GG over our lid, and then apply the glitter or pigment where you put the GG. It can be hard to blend over the GG so that's why I do it that way. Its easier to just blend the edge of your lid color than it is to try to blend your transition colors over the GG.

You are not alone, I am contemplating buying the pigment sets as I already own 12 out of the 20 pigments and glitters

I'm about your skintone, maybe more on the neutral/cool toned side but super fair. I really do like Rose pigment, looks nice on my skin tone (I was sure it would make me look sick, but it doesn't).

I also grabbed Gold and Bronze. I probably could have skipped one or the other but I do wear a lot of neutral bronze or gold smokey eyes.
Ugh just looked up swatches (And saw Tati from Glamlifeguru just made a video) of the rose pigment set. They are beautiful. I'd get so much use of those shades. Thanks for the suggestion!

You can also use those piggies with a clear lipgloss or over nailpolish!
