I once saw some Helly Kitty lipsticks on ebay, and put a bid on and then forgot about it. Well, I won, paid, and of course they were bad fakes.

I was going to escalate, then I couldn't be bothered for some reason.

I did buy several of Moxie from ebay from a reputable seller in 2012 and it's real, since then no more MAC buying from ebay.

I figure it's just tough luck if I miss out and there will always be new shades.

If I had known there would be so many Moxie dupes coming out, I wouldn't have bothered!

EBay is not the only place where sellers will try to take advantage of you. I saw a TTT lipstick in the clearance bin for $50 and was told that wasn't even the highest price. Am I surprised, at this point no. But I thought we looked after each other on Specktra and tried our best to help each other get what we want because one day the shoe will be on the other foot. I wish we would not try to take advantage of each other here. I know 98% of us don't.

I really, really want Enchantment Mini Pressed Pigment and have tried to hunt it down but it's sold-out at all the counters and mac stores around me. I wish I had the mind to snag it when it was still available on Nordstrom but it's no longer even on there. Hell, it's not even on Macy's and they ALWAYS have stock much later than the other retailers. So bummed out.

Vandekamp, we look out for each other but when folks are unwilling to pay an extra $4.50 to have something they claim to want really badly it puts a whole new perspective on "looking out". That can be a really huge turn off. I don't get pro discount, gratis, samples or freebies etc so I pay retail prices and that comes with taxes. Only privilege I get at the PO is extra forms to prepare in advance to make shipping smoother but I stand in long lines and wait forever to get my turn. I make tons of calls and drive from one counter to the next on launch day trying to grab as much extras as I can. I stopped putting water in my car tank, lol. I never make $1 extra when I list stuff here just shipping and paypal fees and you can never move your items no matter how sought after it is supposedly said to be.

More people should be like you and Naomi. I agree. Building in shipping and paypal fees are to be expected. If someone wants to argue with that iI'd simply say, Next? I just saw in the CB that someone was selling RiRi Boy and Heaux for $65 EACH. REALLY? And, they were trying to unload TTT for $75. That is ******g ridiculous. We expect that on EBay for sure. I did not expect that here. Oh well. To each is own.

I swatched Modern Majesty in-store and was honestly somewhat disappointed. I used my finger to pickup color (since I heard it's the best way to use these pressed pigments) but I couldn't pick up any of the glitter in the pan. Odd.

I've been seeing quite a few people on here that have been selling stuff for really high prices. For a while, there was somebody who seemed to only buy stuff just to sell it on here for twice the price, but I think they gave up after realizing that nobody wanted it.

My MM and this in shop was great pigmentation - strong color on the lid and excellence blendable. I love it

It doesn't bother me when ppl sell product at ridiculous prices on ebay b/c it is up to the buyer if they want to purchase it. But this? this is wrong on every level.

Does anyone have any thoughts about how Salon Rouge compares to Russian Red and/or Viva Glam I? I can only get one of Salon Rouge and Sparks of Romance and I'm trying to make up my mind.

I don't have VG1 but Russian Red is just a deep red, no berry at all, while Salon Rouge is berry. The lighting is terrible now but here is a pic:
