I don't have VG1 but Russian Red is just a deep red, no berry at all, while Salon Rouge is berry. The lighting is terrible now but here is a pic:
Russian Red on top, Salon Rouge on bottom
I am so excited to get my Salon Rouge - glad I didn't skip! Thanks for the comparison swatches!!!

I just saw in the CB that someone was selling RiRi Boy and Heaux for $65 EACH. REALLY? And, they were trying to unload TTT for $75. That is ******g ridiculous. We expect that on EBay for sure. I did not expect that here. Oh well. To each is own.
I totally agree, it is poor form to try that in here!

I totally understand selling it for the actual price (including shipping/taxes/fees etc), and if anyone wants to sell on ebay for a massive profit, so be it, but I don't think it should be on here.

I got stuck last year paying off over $80 worth of products to my Nordies card as someone whom I trusted supposedly never got her Rhi Rhi fall items sent on the same receipt with tracking as 2 other ladies who both got their single TTT orders. She was communicating with me for a while playing the concerned role until it got old and she eventually just disappeared. I even tucked her receipt in the package whićh was scanned as delivered. Folks aware of the situation was like she shud have even reimbursed me $40 at least. Didn't stop me for the holidays tho. I thought the Rhi Rhi holiday lipsticks were $15 each so in the interest of being overly fair I sold a set BGRR and PB for $35 shipped insured (after the fall drama) Noticed my receipts a while afterwards that they were $16.50 each plus Fl 6% taxes therefore retail price was approx $35 which meant I shipped every one of those hyped up pieces completely free insured. I got rid of them all the very same day didn't wait for them to be $60 each a month later. Will still be able to get extremely hard to find items in the future but will I ? Not really Will still sell a few items possibly but from my own personal stash for personal gain maybe to balance out a few losses ( several other situations that is just too much to mention) No one ever asked me to help (and some was even mad that I did and found ways to barge in and try to sabotage things but I wasn't doing anything wrong so they had to huff and puff from a distance) but it gave me immense pleasure to bring joy to some otherwise disappointed folks. I think that a lot of people are not aware of retail prices or is not used to paying full price for anything therefore Enchantment for $27 looks ridiculous. But it retails for $22, paypal charges almost a $2 fee, shipping is $3.37, envelop $0.60 is free.

Debbs, I have purchased from you in the past and have to say that your prices are reasonable. And the fact that you still continue to look out for others here despite being ripped off, speaks volumes of your character. You've got a big heart!

This is like the person that was begging me to help them get Osbourne's items but did not want to pay even the tax. She wanted to pay $17.50 and that was it. I was sooo pissed after I busted my butt to try to help her find the items with Debbs help.

And I go crazy securing everything with tons of bubble wrap, tissue paper and tape! Never ever skimped or compromise safety for them to weigh less. First priority is sending out each piece as tho they belonged to me ( lots of TLC ) lol Addict4Mac, Mousy, thanks ladies If I let a few evil conniving crooks change who I am that would be giving them too much power and control over me I give away much more than I sell so I am unaffected really it's just the feeling of being violated and used. Mousy, people see what they want to see. They see sending Debbie $27 not that PayPal gives Debbie $25. Create your own happiness and don't let cheapies have dominion over you!

Agreed. Why bring that kind of energy into the Specktra community anyway? We want to help each other and not take advantage of each other when we are looking for LE makeup.

Not even pay the sales tax?

One lady told me yesterday that the reason she wanated to sell a $16 lipstick for $75 is because she went through a lot to get it. Question- In the end, what did it costs you when the salesperson rang it up? $16.50. There is a time and a place for everything. Trying to make $50 extra on a $16 lipstick, fine. Whatever floats your boat. That is what EBay is for. I just wish we could bring a different kind of energy to the CB. I am just person. And if folks want to give up and arm and a leg for a lipstick, knock yourself out.

But SR is gonna be

It's pretty, I like the colour but I sure didn't need to grab it. I don't even think I actually really wanted it and just got it because it was there and sparkly.

I'm wearing it today to see if I change my mind about it though.

The collection just launched here. Of course I ended up with more things than I originally wanted... I bought: - No Faux Pas - Nostalgic pressed pigment - the nude lip bag (I just couldn't pass on Kiss the King after trying it...) The find the mu bags very tacky. They look cheap and glitter is falling everywhere... but oh well, I will pass it to someone who will like it, the important part is the product itself.

I don't know if I should invest in SR, seeing that I have FnF. I did order SoR because of that gold glitter it has going on
I got it yesterday and it's very pretty but I wouldn't say a must have by any means. I'm actually thinking of slapping mine in the CB.

It's kind of interesting that the women that want to sell a $15 lipstick for $75 or $50 are generally not the women that engage in makeup dialogue on a regular basis here on Specktra. At least that is what I have seen over the past year.

I've noticed that too.
