Chanel Rouge Coco relaunch 2015

I figured we could use a thread for this as information starts to trickle in. I found this on Instagram http://instagram.com/p/xmXBhlpsAm/ Looks like there will be 30 shades, all of them named after people... One shade (Arthur) will get an early release. Sadly, this means we bid adieu to the existing RC shades. Hopefully the new ones will raise the bar even farther.

I'm sensing a naming trend here with the NARS Audacious, Tom Ford Lips & Boys. I don't know how I feel about that. But I'm intrigued as to what changes they've made to the formula.

My nordstrom SA let me see the color sheet (but wouldn't let me take a photo) and if I remember correctly, three shades will be in the new lineup. I remember that Mademoiselle is one of them for sure. They were all super pretty. I'd recommend asking your local Nordie's counters to see it too since they have the info already.

I love my RCs, my favourites are Cambon, Mademoiselle, Chintz.. I hope there will be pretty colours in the new lineup! I'm not a big fan of the naming after people trend, so I'll see if they actually deter me from buying.

How much is the drop in price? A little or quite significant? I hope it's real, lol although it doesn't sound possible too.

Etienne looks very deep and a bit brown in the lipstick picture but on Keira's lips it looks brighter and pretty!

What is Keira wearing in the promo pic? Gabrielle? It looks really glossy though. The second pic looks less red, more pink, but I don't know if they are the same shade.

Téhéran, Sari Doré and Misia sound very familiar. I think they were released as location specific or LE RCs or RC Shines before? So looks like Chanel only kept 3 from the current line: Gabrielle, Mademoiselle and Legende.

My inital list:
Orange: Catherine, Téhéran, Sari Doré
Pink: Vera, Edith, Roussy
Red: Arthur, Etienne
Plum: Ina, Emilienne, Jean (and not getting Elise just because it just reminds me of someone personally who I rather forget, luckily it looks like I already have something similar)

I'm excited. It brings me back to the time when Chanel first launched RC and gave us badges with purchase. It was fun and I was curious and in love with so many but only limited myself to 2, Mademoiselle and Gardenia. I still have the badges!

Téhéran and Sari Doré have both been out before, I remember almost buying Téhéran lol I think it's funny they kept Legende, I can't stand that shade! I actually just this week passed it on to my best friend bc I never wear it and it's too frosty for my tastes. So far I want Coco, Edith, Roussy, Arthur and Dimitri. I'll probably want some nudes too though, I love Chanel nudes but can't tell very well without swatches

I agree, Legende is very frosty! I have a mini one which was a gift with purchase and I only wore it twice I think. I have a perfect nude from Chanel but it is a RA, Mythic. It is a true nude on me, without being thick or overly creamy (concealer-like).
