Arthur, and all of the others coming out here end of Feb/beginning of March, are allegedly perm here. I can't imagine that Arthur would be LE anywhere since "Arthur" was "Boy".... he's a very important guy. The only thing is at one point I heard Arthur would be available only for Valentines and then disappear until all of the others were introduced so maybe that's what's planned where you are?

I'm back & will post pics in a bit after I run. To be honest, at first glance & swatches, I'm not so sure that I really like the new Rouge Cocos. They looked very shiny/vinyl like in person. Maybe they will be different on the lips. The SA even confessed to me after I said I didn't like how they looked, that another lady commented that they were too shiny. Some of the shades are quite vibrant.

I ordered a couple that arrived today and I was not thrilled with them either. Edith was a kind of unremarkable color and had that shine thing going on (although I couldn't quite put my finger on that aspect until you mentioned it) and Vera was too sheer on my pigmented lips to where I literally couldn't tell I had anything on. I also saw a friend's Cecile and it looked kind of frosty on her pigmented lips. I think both Vera and Cecile might look nice on saran wrap lips though. I agree with you on the vibrancy of the shades in general from swatches we've seen - I remember that being something somebody mentioned from the first pics, maybe Miss QQ? - and I hope they'll offer some softer shades in future collections.

Yep. I swatched in such a hurry & the SA was driving me crazy LOL! I was trying to do them in order of the display & he would just grab another lipstick & just jump right in & swatch it on my hand

It was so bad that hubs stepped in between him & me so he would stop.

And yes, Cecile was frosty. And the other one Adrienne (sp) that we thought would be a nice nude - nope. Its in the center of my hand with the very very light pink - Vera

Except for the 2 larger swatches right in the center of my hand (Adrienne) sp? & the very light pink one - Vera, they are mostly in order & row as you see them in the display photo. I did not swatch Mademoiselle & Sari Dore & another one. I don't know why, but the upload thing here changes/flips my pic sometimes

As far as their colors, they are very very close to the cap color.

In your first pic what's the one right above Adrienne (the middle one in that group of 3)?

Its 412 Teheran. Catherine is to the left of that - a very pale peach. LOL - ACK my swatches should have been more organized. Sorry.

You are very right - not complex or nuanced is it!!! They looked like cheap vinyl in person. The lighting may have added to it, but they kind of looked the same under the natural skylight where I took the pics of the swatches on my hand.

I wanted to love Roussy, but I wasn't crazy about it. Its in the middle of the 3 pinky swatches at the bottom of my hand. I really did like the first pink swatch in that group of 3 to the left of Roussy. Elise 448 - right under the word friends in the display. And I kind of liked Ina - it's on the far right in the 4 swatches on my wrist. Its a soft rose berry light magenta.

Arthur isn't listed as limited edition on Chanel.com either, and it's still available as of this evening

No, I agree, Arthur doesn't seem as shiny. I think they might look good tapped on. Isn't that what they said they did with Etienne or Emilienne (I keep getting those confused and am probably spelling both wrong) on Keira?

I've found that a lot of the more recent launches have sacrificed nuance and originality of colour when they've introduced new formulas.
