That is so sweet of you! Especially in instances where ladies who really want the product can't stalk. That's how I've missed on some desired items... School and work is way more important. (Most of the time! :haha: ) the resellers totally disgust me. Those who do it at a gouged and ridiculous price. Unfortunately MAC creates this problem by making such limited items, hyping them up extremely, and releasing at random times where a lot of people can't reasonably get on to refresh for hours. I get salty as hell when I see someone buying 4-5 backups sometimes, when they expressly say it's for them. I bet they sit on them for a while then sell. Because, girl, how are you going to use up 5 lippies before they go bad? I understand buying a backup or even two BUs... Or for friends/family/etc. but some people definitely ruin it for others! and thanks!! I'll likely try my hand again at stalking. But after that my wallet needs a break until Chanel Summer 2015.I totally understand how you feel. MAC should make it so that you can only purchase a certain amount of one item per receipt! That would make it SO much easier for collectors and makeup users to attain LE products. It's really disgusting the way resellers do business. I told my husband I wanted to buy a TON of the next hot selling ticket, so that I can resell it at the price it retails for (plus shipping of course). I just want everyone to get what they wantI'm really considering it after the BBW atrocity. Whatever you decide to do regarding this collection, best of luck to you hun

I'm either buying bulk for the Valli collection, the Wash and Dry or the MIB collection. Those seem to be the most sought after at the moment. The Julia Petit collection is too limited, so it will be harder to get in bulk. Get you armor ready for the JP stalk session, lol... But anyhoo, hope you get everything you want, AND need ...I'm waiting the Chanel too !!

I think with Bao people saw how fast LJ sold out and just started buying the other stuff in a panic. I don't think this collection has any products people will go really crazy to get. Boca and Acai will probably sell out fast but not blink and you'll miss it fast.

Fanbase doesn't matter much. Look how many people LOATHED rihanna but still went crazy for her collections? And I said before...I bet most of the people who bought lavender jade have any idea or care who Bao Bao Wan is. Some people here originally thought it was a collection inspired by India Fashion Week.

Rihanna and Bao Bao had some pretty interesting colours and packaging (and Riri had retro mattes). This collection has some great staple colours but nothing in particular that I can see creating a ton of hype. So I'm assuming it won't be a really crazy launch, unless Julia Petit has a lot of fans who'll rush to buy things just because her name is on them?
I know I bought a lot of things from the Rocky Horror collection just because they were in the Rocky Horror collection. If the lipsticks for example had been in this collection, it would have been an easy pass on all of them. Conversely I bought less than I otherwise might have from the Osbourne's collection because I really don't care for them. So for me, whether I like the person/thing associated with a collection makes a difference. Julia Petit has a really big, adoring fanbase in Brazil. If she has similar in the States then it could be a much more in demand collection than expected.

I see tons of LJ on eBay already. One person is selling them for 80.00, and it says 14 have sold already. I wonder if those 14 people paid 80.00 for them?? That's crazy! I bought one recently for 30.00, it was an old one that was a sentimental favorite of mine. And if there was one that had a very high collector's value I might pay more, but I honestly don't think LJ or the packaging is that unique that it's worth 80.00.

It reminds me of a dirty version of Hoop on the swatches. I loved Hoop, too, so I might have to try this one. I don't need it, but... and Acai is gorgeous, although I probably have a dupe for it, too.That mauvey "it" colourI wonder which discontinued lip pencil it was~~ the only one it looks similar to is Slightly Off lip pencil... but this lippie looks a bit warmer~~

I hadn't seen that blush before either. I wondered why so many people were saying they wanted "Linda". It sure is pretty...Oh no! I wish I didn't see the swatch of the Linda blusher! I want that, too! When does this come out... the 12th? Sigh. Better prep my wallet and my mind for another stalk sesh.
