I apologize to all for my rant last night. This is after all makeup, not brain surgery, no one is going to die from our passion. Maybe go to the poor house, but not death by makeup. I do believe this format offers suggestions, never really trashes any product. I think of it as the 5 inch heels I had to stand in last night for 6 hours. My feet were killing me, but I was pretty!!!! I also towered over most women with being close to 6-4 with the highs on. As my dad tells me, for what my shoes cost, they should be heavenly to wear!!!! But heck what is a little pain to have sparkles on your feet?

As with TF Summer Fling, I love that color. But due to the fairly large bits of sparkle it does not have the creamy feel. Just as the new Dior 007 blush I am envious of those of you who can wear this. On me, the circus would be calling.

I think I might finally splurge on a Chanel nail polish, but I have to find the right one to justify the price. I'll treat myself to one before the end of Summer. :flower:

I actually have to agree on the Dior polishes. I love and collect Chanel polishes because of the more interesting colors they release but Dior has a better, more long lasting formula and the wider brush makes it easier (at least for me) to apply to my nails without having to do clean up after. If you still want to try a Chanel polish, my favorite from the permanant polishes is Taboo but Tutti Frutti from last summer is a pretty coral.

I'm a dye hard chanel collector but admit I love a lot of Dior's releases: wonderful colors, long lasting super glossy polishes. Only I'm not a fan of big brushes since my nails are sooo tiny.

I have all of these too. Nope they are not being discontinued, I called Chanel in New York. On the topic of blushes. for those considering purchasing the new "tweed" blush rose which will be released sometime, maybe the fall. Keep in mind, after several uses, you end up with 2 squares of colors, no tweeting left. I own the Tweed Pink. Used it last night, great blush, but be aware the tweed is just window dressing for a short period of time
Cream blushes are discontinuated in Italy because of the incoming arrival of the new stick blushes. Oh by the way, your facialist was right about the microserum: it is a "as needed " product and you'd better avoid it for daily use.

I picked up the Dior sniper for dark spots for my mom recently. Think she is not thrilled, she swears by the Le Blanc line for those dark spots. Which I can't even see, but she does!!!! I love Chanel polish especially the out of the box colors especially when they change color!!!
