MAC X Philip Treacy Collection (March 26 / April 2, 2015)

I'm most likely skipping but I'm hoping I could swatch Hollywood Cerise in store to compare it with Daddy's Little Girl from Archie's. Seems like the more I look at it, the more it gives me that DLG vibe. One way to find out.

If you have the chance to try it on, it looks amazing on our skin/foundation shade. NC 30-35.

VG1 was my first MAC purchase ever back in the 90's. Ru Paul convinced me, lol.

Let's hope so re online. Most of the MAC stores I asked during JP told me their next collection is MIB...I'm in NYC.

Edit, just called one location and they said they are getting it tomorrow but to call first to make sure. Another checked their book and it's next Thurs. I don't want the eBay vultures to know where so if you want to know message me, lol. They can do their own legwork, hahahaa.

I think they look very similar too. That's why I want Hollywood Cerise. DLG is my favorite LE lip color of all time.

Just curious, what do you have thAts similar to FOF

I skimmed quickly last night, one was NYX matte lip cream in Prague ("matte merlot") and Avon Ultra Color Bold lipstick in Hi-Def Plum (satin). I would like to see it in daylight, but I swatched last night with artificial light and flash. In person they were very similar. I'm starting to wonder if one of my Too Faced Melted ones is similar too...didn't swatch it, Melted Fuschia... The finishes are what would set them apart since FOF ("bright plum matte") is rm (aka super dry, lol).

As per T's swatches (if you go by those), Cardinal (satin) and Maria Moretti (Amp) lipsticks are pretty much dupes of each other. So if you miss one tomorrow, try for the other since they aren't special packaging anyway, lmao!

Spoke to someone on MAC chat and she said that they're still anticipating for this collection to launch tomorrow. She also said to look for it around 9am est but I don't know how accurate that's going to be.
