MAC X Philip Treacy Collection (March 26 / April 2, 2015)

No Pro discount has never stopped resellers. Be it regular packaging or special packaging. I think the reason this is still in stock is because there's not a lot of hype on social media. Philip Treacy barely mentioned the collaboration once on IG by posting promo pics whereas Bao Bao Wan and Julia Petit promoted their collections a LOT by posting photos of products worn, attending launch parties, etc.

After RHPS, I've really been giving her swatches the side eye. I almost skipped Frank N Furter because of her swatch, so glad I didn't because it looks nothing like how her swatch looked

agreed...i'm taking her swatches with a grain of salt now.

Man, I wonder how many products (way back before I stated using specktra) I've skipped on because of that!

I can't wait to play with my goodies tomorrow.

To be fair, her swatches used to be highly accurate but then she changed how she started taking them. I guess she is too afraid to change now cause it would disrupt her comparisons and she has such a large data base of swatches. *Shrug*

I know.  Lot's of times her swatches look the same but in real life there are discernible differences.  It looks really red on her but on me it pulls more berry which is what I had wanted.  Course I pair it with Vino that helps pull the berry/plum out more.

It's more berry on me too I even made my sister try it on because she is about T's colouring and it's berry on her too straight from the tube.

This is making me want Hollywood Cerise now. I might get it. I skipped Mia Moretti, that counts as being good right? Even though I already bought Royal Wink, Cardinal and Blush Pink this morning. So much for self control.

She just recently reviewed the Guerlain healthy glow duos. Well, two of them. I've seen them in person-- and her photos makes them look IDENTICAL in pan! I just shook my head. I think the lighting is too warm.

A few times, I've bought lippies based on her lip swatches and have been like "wheres the gold shimmer?" and then I realized... it's her lighting!!!

YES!! She compares stuff and they are like nothing alike. At least not enough to call them dupes. Maybe for people who have a broad but limited amount of lipsticks. Us fanatics can tell the subtle differences.

I'm going to try to create a custom filter for all of Temptalia's swatches so that I can just use that each time to figure out how a shade might actually look on me.

Woohoo, just got my demo of mark first blush. "Perfect flush powder". You can swirl all 3 colors or use the lightest shade to highlight. Haha, here's my PT powder! The over spray looks silver but it's actually lilac.

See...what had happened was, I realized that the other two lipsticks were never going to feel complete without their sister Cardinal I couldn't live peacefully knowing that I was the cause of such devastation! I just couldn't be that cold :crybaby: ...i HAD to do it, Sassy...I had to! :lol:
