I've bought a lot of lipsticks recently.. I think I'm only going to get Pearl Blossom. Maybe. I need to see more swatches. :sigh:

Catty and Real Doll look beautiful. I'm not sure about Make Me Gorgeous, only because it looks so similar to other lippies Mac has put out recently. Karen did look gorgeous in it though---and I loved the flamingo theme. Hmmmmm.....

If I didn't have Reel Sexy and Alpha girl already, I would be getting those plus Diva-ish. Definitely going in store for this one!

I only go to T to check out swatches, that is , not her review and grading, not taking all her words.

Last time I always refer to T first, now specktra is my 1st reference. I seldom frequent there now (with a reason as well)

Yeah she hates lusters, she says they are drying. Lusters aren't my favorite MAC finish but I find them creamy and moisturizing. I like to pair them with my liners.
Interesting that Temptalia gave this collection a pretty bad review. She actually says that all the lustres lipsticks are a miss.  http://www.temptalia.com/round-up-mac-is-beauty-collection-overview-thoughts Other people may think differently though...I will still check out the collection in stores :)

T seems to think lack of pigmentation = miss. That's not always true since lustres are suppose to be somewhat sheer. Liba gave a really great description of what they are and what they do for your lips in one of last year's spring collection thread (sorry I can't remember which one it is!). Liba said it's suppose to make your lips "juicy and youthful" so it doesn't seem fair to say these lustres are a miss just because they aren't as opaque or pigmented compared to satin/matte or retro matte lipsticks.
I don't know what T thought of other luster lipsticks other than that they are uncomfortable to wear (I'm only recently got into makeup, including reading beauty blogs), but T said the lusters in this collection are a miss because they are drying and don't last long. In terms of pigmentation, the ratings she gave them vary between very good to excellent.
I like Call The Hairdresser, but the drying issue makes me worried since my lips (and skin) are on the dry side.

Are there any good reviews on the 137 Long Blending Brush? I love how it looks but I'm not sure I want to drop $42 on it. I guess it would be nice for highlighter and blush? Are MAC's LE brushes usually worth it?

So far, I don't have issue with lustres. (it doesn't last that long like matte, but not drying for me)
But I guess it varies from one person to another. To make sure it is right for me (whether the color or formula), I will go to store and check it personally if possible. Well, sometimes, I can see due to timing, work or distance, some people can't do so?
