Sorry if this has been talked about before-- but has anyone tried out the Smashbox primer water? I've seen great reviews for it on YT, but it has mixed reviews on Sephora's actual site. I have combination skin. Lately it's been a tad dryer than usual due to my acne face wash, but I'm drinking lots of water and using a great moisturizer. Yet, my foundation is still caking up a bit around my drier spots that I've never had a problem with before. Don't wanna switch the face-wash regimen... it's kicking my acne's ass! :haha:  Anyway, sorry about the rant. Just curious about the Primer Water.
I love it! I was using UD Setting Spray and the MUFE one before. I like them both and they work well for me. But what I like about the Smashbox is that it feels much gentler on my super sensitive skin. Plus I like that I can use it before and after aplying make up. I wear it for performances (I am a dancer) and it helps my make up to stay perfect even when I am sweating a lot. I also wear it everyday with no irritations. With the UD and MUFE I had to rotate between them and take breaks so my skin wouldn't get irritated. My skin is on the dry side btw. Hope that helps:).

Just left one Sephora, going to another now. Looking for that Becca under eye brightener! As if now my baby haul is: Clinique Cola Cheek Pop Sephora Lavender blotting sheets ($5 online, why not?) LM Indiscretion Sephora Pomegranate face mask (never tried them) Sephora depuff eye mask (never tried) Nano lip pencil in Royal Rose Nano eye pencil inin Azur Blue
Nice haul! I went to both Times Square stores, neither one had the Becca under eye brightener, in fact the one on 42 st doesn't even carry Becca and online it says they do. I called a bunch of other stores, but no one had it. When I called the Soho store, the SA said the Becca rep was there and asked about the under eye brightener and he said it should be restocked soon, there was a shortage. Although you can get it on the Becca website and on Beautyhabit. BH has a deal on a $50 purchase you get $10 off with the code petite. But there is a shipping fee, if you spend $100, you get $20 off. Free shipping over $100. Who knows if Sephora will get it in before the sale is over. I also was surprised at how much I liked the Bite gloss set, I didn't think they would be so pigmented, so I bought that as a consolation prize. :encore:

Sephora still has the 10-Day samples available so I was referring to those.

Replenished  my Clinique skincare and my Nars sheer glow. I went to the Union Sq. location today and they had a lot of the new items. I was interested in the Hourglass bronzers and boy were they super glittery! I ended up getting some KvD lipsticks that were surprisingly in stock. Was hoping the christopher kane x nars and UD blushes would be out in time for the sale.
I went to that location today too. Along with Chelsea, Herald and both Time Sq's, lol. Yeah no UD blushes. Boo. They're all pushing Hourglass though with primary displays.
We must have all crossed paths today! Neither Times Square locations had the Hourglass bronzes or UD blushes or Nars Kane.

:agree:    I use 2 cleansers too---Algenist melting & Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel.
Are these good for dry skin? I typically use a neutrogena face wash or Fresh and I find both make my skin super dry. I've heard great things about both Algenist and Boscia.

I just fell in love with Boscia...my pregnant friend got the black charcoal sponge and detox cleanser to help with her breakouts and she loves it! I got the same cleanser and the red sponge and these bumpies on my cheeks diminished! I usually have to pile on the concealer to hide it.....I also have some dark spots in the same area so I got the brightening mask and it lightened it up. I love this line!!! oooo and I requalified for rouge and somehow ended up with 2 of the MJ lippies hehe thanks sephora cuz the bag for vib sucked. they wouldn't even give it to me saying that my rouge bag was on Sunday and I was like NO I got an email saying I could get it today (it was last Thursday) and the bag had zero samples.....wow thanks

I love it! YWp Actually recently did a video comparing it to charged water from Mac and her foundation / blush broke up on that side and the primer water didn't. I use it in combination w my hangover rx primer

Unfortunately some people just have to deal with break outs from the crazy hormones. If your skin is dry try using a face brush to wash your face. Sephora has a little one for about $10. I started using that when I lost the charger for my clarisonic. If you're skin is more oily than usual try using a toner for oily skin or a cleanser for oily skin.
Something with lactic acid. It's tjethe only safe one during pregnancy
Thanks ladies!!!

Also I forget who asked about primers for oily skin but the new MUFE Matte is good. For me, that in combination with the MUFE Mist and Fix and I won't need to look for any other primers or setting sprays until either one is discontinued.
Good to know. I use the mist and will definitely get the Mufe matte.

Decisions, decisions
blow!

I got Femme Fatale at Ulta on Saturday with my 20% off coupon. It's a really pretty color, but I don't know why I thought it was darker. I was thinking it was closer to Lorac Dominatrix but I think I was bugging out because it's clearly not.  I've gotten lots of compliments on it today. Even my sister's boyfriend said the color was a good match for my complexion which absolutely tickled me as I've never heard him say anything about makeup besides that he doesn't like it. :haha:
Yea guys can be random about things haha I'm gonna get the red one in that collection too, Infrared Matte, it's such a beautiful red, although I just bought KVD Hellbent which is really pretty too! I did swear off reds lol

Does anyone think Bamboo white polish is similar to some of the popular Essie white polishes? I was reminded of their colors that were popular... oh jeez, 15 years ago now, like Waltz, and Balleet slippers.
