[@]KiKi Kontour[/@] Girlll you and I both. I'm definitely not for wasting $80 on foundation w/o being certain on my shade. But I'm extremely excited about giving their foundation a shot. I adore TF so this should be exciting. Have you saw the shimmering body oil? What do you think about that? I would love to hear thoughts from WOC on that.

I have found with Mr. Ford's products, it all depends on skin tone, more so then other brands. Negligee on me pulls to the orange side. Yet on others, it leans to more neutral or pink. For the shadows, if you want a good everyday palette Cocoa Mirage, it is still to this day the #1 seller in his line for shadows. Good matte shades, blends well, can go soft or layer for more drama. I love Cognac Sable, the darkest color on me pulls purple. But this is not an everyday palette, at least for me. Seductive Rose, lovely, but is not as neutral as Cocoa Mirage. Since I lost my virginity to Mr. Ford with Ice Queen, it is still my fav. Ice Queen with Bare lip shine, and Frantic Pink blush, just a lovely look. At least for this Pink Casper.....
I like Cocoa Mirage, but I usually don't go for an all matte shadow look even though that satin shade looks so pretty in the palette I would probably mostly combine it with other shadows. Cognac Sable is very pretty and I love the warmth, I was wondering if the darkest shade in the palette is close to the shade in Dior's Trafalgar palette. I have a pretty good eyeshadow stash and I have all bases covered for the most part except the purples. I have the hardest time finding quality purple shadows. So I think Seductive Rose should be the one... I wish I could swatch it, but there are no counters near me. I've seen so many beautiful looks with Ice Queen. I love admiring the looks since I can't pull of anything too cool toned or very gray.
Ice Queen is a hidden gem. On me it goes for more blue grays. Combine with his Lavender Lust and it is even better. Cocoa Mirage is not satin. It is a true matte. Seductive Rose, on me, is more brown/burgundy/wine. No purple anywhere. If I was going for the one that is most unusual, it would Cognac Sable. Yes, early on in my relationship with Mr. Ford, I was reluctant to add to my already HUGE stash. I tried my best to match the colors in Cognac Sable. There is even a MAC dupe list for all the colors in the quad. I already owned them, and nope, maybe 2nd cousins, but not the same. I have found, even with my OCD with germs. Heck at least I own it.....using your fingertip to press on the glitter shade works the best. Hope this helps.

The Mattes are back and with new colors on Nordies. Electric Pink, Velvet Violet.

My Neiman's SA called me about the Fall collection and promotions but I haven't called her back yet. My gift card is on the way so that'll be good timing.
NM is having a get together in Houston around 6/20 for their TF employee's for fall products with Mr. Ford. It will be disclosed then if the Boy's are repeats or new children.

Might want to wait for the Ombre blushes before you add to the family. Unless you have found the pot of gold. I keep looking, but haven't found it yet.

I'm just transitioning into TF....are those the must haves?
Black Dahlia, First Time, Electric Pink, Very Velvet, and other previous or thought to be LE are part of the regular line, as well as Nude Dip. All the summer lipsticks. The cream blush, Pink glow are LE. The bronzers in both sizes are here to stay in the white case. The perfume oil, I think is a LE. The new lip shines in Lust and Sultry are part of the regular line. Obviously the eyeshadow duo's are LE.

watch out for that MEDDY gal cuz she's dangerous!! I almost pawned my son mason off for this dmn summer collection!!

My TF wishlist:
savage and ravish blush (i already got wicked and loooove it)
cocoa ravish
electric pink
pink dusk
blush nude
moroccan rouge
black dahlila or black orchid (these are like one in the same right?)
lust lip shine
nude dip and seductive rose palettes

Since i oversplurged with makeup these last 2 months im gonna chill and pay off 2 loans throughout the summer and fall THEN i'll treat myself to some things in my wishlist-i had to humble myself and grab some lippies from mac matte collection tho lol i was like ooooh $80 for 5 lippies wooooow i remember these days hahaha!! but honestly TF is worth it to me. i'd trade in all 5 of those lippies for a staple one (or 2) of TF's esp ones that i know i'll wear EVERYday. My list is slowly growing. i have deep mink, sable smoke (which i use more times than not), flame, paradiso and rose soleil. i think as a beginner u should do a neutral nude type shade and a POW i have arrived type shade-hence why i got flame!! Good luck and i'll see u in the ramen noodles section of the grocery store

Love it, if my house was on fire and I could grab only one foundation that would be it! I also use the cream stick as a concealer when I wear this or to hide any yuck spots. I also use the powder to set. Every time I wear it, people make compliments. I am Alabaster, so can't help with darker shades. I use my finger tips to apply then use the Artis #8 brush to buff out. His primer makes my skin bright red, love it, but my skin doesn't. How other foundation I found to be heavier, and a limited color range.

I have found you can get good size samples of his foundation sent out to you are no charge from NM. If you need a hookup, I can get you with an outstanding product specialist who will send you a range of shades.

Cocoa Mirage looks all matte except for the bottom left hand shade that has some sparkle to it at least from the swatches I've seen. I think Seductive Rose will lean purplish on me with my yellow undertones. I'm now down to Seductive Rose or Cognac Sable I'll end up having both(probably more than two from the line lol) at some point, but for now I just want to add one quad to my stash, so I can enjoy it and not get overwhelmed since I got a lot of new shadows lately. I'm OCD too lol and just can't apply shadows with my fingers. I found the best brush ever for TF glitter is the brushes that came with Naked 3 and Naked 2 the flat stiff synthetic side or the runner up is a MAC 242. I have no fallout when applying it to my top lids just need to master not having any fallout when applying to my bottom lash line.

Truly Cocoa Mirage has no sparkle, at least that I remember. I do not own any of the Naked palettes. I had Cognac Sable and it went missing.....the next day I saw it on another person in camp. Of course I could not actually prove how she ended up with it or if in fact she did not have it before (yeah, right). So it was a pick your battle and remember I would be stuck in BFI with this person for God knows how long. So I let it go. Yes, it still pisses me off. Worse then college of things go poof!

Velvet Violet has arrived and it incredible. I have found to first line my lips with Dior clear lip liner, then a LIGHT coat of the Dior rose lip balm. Let it set as I do the rest of my face. Then use a lip brush to apply. Then use the actual bullet, blot. For an extra zing and sparkle, I used Chanel 108 over it. Do not fret, 108 does not come out as color in you see. It is a soft clear with sparkle, but not over the top.
