I ordered Little Buddha

Ooo swatches when you get them pleeeaaase
I didn't know it was coming for some reason. I don't know why, I always check the calendar for updates. I'll post swatches when mine get here though! I wish there were still people in the MAC lipmix thread too, that one's making me sad, I love them so much and no one wants to talk about them. Anyway, I loved their other "asian inspired" cremesheens (spellcheck wants this to be cremations) like sunny seoul and coral bliss so I figured this would be right up my alley. Plus they said its popular in Asia right now (which I assume means Korea and Japan, since that's where all the big trends westerners get on board with follow, and China and Thailand and Vietnam, etc. follow what's going on in Japan and Korea, I just don't want to be ignorant and pretend "Asia" is this one place with one trend where everyone does the same thing). And I love EVERYTHING Japanese and Korean right now. I'm doing the gradient lip and wearing shoes shaped like unicorns, I wear crop tops with ice cream cones on them and I just bought an air cushion foundation... So you pretty much just tell me Korean girls are doing it and I'm all over it. Although I stopped listening to Korean and Japanese music, kind of over it, I like Mandopop now. Hebe Tien- Flower has been in my head nonstop for 3 months. My college friend lives in Seoul so I've been messaging her nonstop like "is this really a thing?!" and she has totally verified all of it. And I just got back from southeast asia and everyone was wearing all the stuff I thought they would be, but I wasn't looking for pearly lips... so I can't remember if i saw them... Next I shall try the straight eyebrow and the puppy eye. But anyway, how am I this off topic. Oh yeah! I was going to say I think the thread is slow because they're perm and we didn't get swatches in advance to be excited about. This thread is so slow for a new release.
Are there new Lipmix shades coming or is it just a general discus thread? I've never tried them but have always been really interested, especially Burgundy since it looks so pretty.I didn't know it was coming for some reason. I think people are waiting for more swatches before pulling the trigger on buying these (at least I am). Either that or they're annoyed at the recent price hike! This thread is so slow for a new release.
It's just the general perm ones, but no one has talked about them since like 2012 when they came out... And I bought ALL of the colors, and they are AMAZING. I just went on a trip to mexico and had to have a cooler with me at all times to keep my lipsticks from melting, so I'm like, forget this, I'm bringing liquid lipsticks next time. So after mexico I went on a trip to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar and I ONLY brought lipmix. I have like a million of the OCC lip tars too, but they separate out really bad and it's hard to fix them and also they have an expiration date. As far as I can tell mac limix doesn't expire. ANYHOW, they are a LITTLE drying, but I apply chapstick both under and over so it's not a huge issue, and putting chapstick on top doesn't affect the color since they are bright and opaque as %^&*. They are perfect, intense colors that don't bleed at ALL and do NOT settle into liplines, they last a thousand years because a tiny dot on your finger does your lips completely, and they last the entire day, even if you're eating, drinking, swimming and sweating. No joke. They're that good. I threw in a couple pics even though it's not the cremesheen, hopefully I won't get in trouble, but I thought it might be okay because the thread is going slowly right now and we haven't received our product to post swatches yet. But anyway, it's the Fuchsia (with my mom who so clearly loves selfies and is happy to be in them) and the orange. I put one of the orange normal and one of the orange when I was pouring sweat at like 95 degrees and 90% humidity climbing pyramids in Cambodia. They both held up that well, no smearing, no fading, no anything. They are 100% until you remove them yourself. The reason I wanted to talk to people is that I wanted ideas on how to mix them instead of just diving in and hoping. Like I wanted to make some lighter colors and some corals, but when I mixed them they looked muddy and I want advice on which ones should go with what. Or at least have someone to share my failures with! Are there new Lipmix shades coming or is it just a general discus thread? I've never tried them but have always been really interested, especially Burgundy since it looks so pretty.
I pre-ordered so I paid the $19 each. I think I can pick them up Thursday. This thread is so slow for a new release.

Loving the gradient lip look right now! I've been using YSL Rouge Pur Couture 52 for mine (a chick from a K-drama apparently made that specific shade very popular a while back).I didn't know it was coming for some reason. Omg I LOVE YSL 52! It's my favorite shade of all time! I also read that everyone on earth bought it because the girl on that k-drama wore it, but then it turned out that the shade she wore was actually a unique mix that the shows makeup artist threw together using like 3 or 4 lipsticks, so it isn't something you can buy. But because it was so similar and everyone THOUGHT it was the same, they all bought. And so did ILoving the gradient lip look right now! Also.... I'm going to need to see pics of these unicorn shoes, please and thank you. I have an unhealthy obession with unicorns.![]()

The benetint is SO tricky to use, but it really stays put and I don't have to worry about it once I get it right. I also bought some stains from a seller in Korea... gna find out if they're fake... But I THINK they should be real since they're just little like $1.50 lip things you get at the Korean version of Walgreens. I feel like if you're a seller in Korea and the product is cheap to begin with there would be no reason to sell fake ones. Okay here are the shoes, mine haven't gotten here yet!!! I ordered them a few days ago and I'm DYING to get them, I already know the WHOLE oufit I'm going to wear. This aqua coord set I got in Bangkok, a little pink purse with a blue cat toy hanging from it, and these ridiculous pink sunglasses from dollskill. I know the shoes don't have legs, but they have a horn, so they ARE unicorn shoes

I'll have to get that too! Why can't they sell IOPE here?! I don't care if they didn't REALLY use YSL 52 on the show, it's just the most perfect color that has ever been. And it smells like roses. I bet makeup companies are DYING to get their makeup on that show lol check out dollskill.com, they have some other unicorn shoes tooOMG... Died. I'm dead. I love those so much.
Yeah, I'd heard the same thing you did about the YSL 52. I'd already bought it at that point, lol. There was another one they supposedly used on that show that I got off of eBay. IOPE Water Fit Lipstick 44 Forever Pink. It's pretty amazing.
I think because no one has anything to swatch. Also I do not think there was much on this collection until the last 2 weeks or soThis thread is so slow for a new release.
I ordered little Buddha too b/c of @elegant-one!! :frenz:i am hoping we love it!!!![]()
