MAC Cremesheen Pearl Collection (July 16/ July 23, 2015)

Interested in Sweet Sakura and maybe the pinks. So tempted to buy now, but I have enough empties for one B2M so should really buy in person. I'd also like to see some more swatches!

Edited to add: why do they cost $17, as opposed to the $16 for regular lipsticks?

i didn't even know this was coming so I freaked out when I got the email. Sneak attack! Luckily I quickly found out they were perm and my BP is back down I already ordered some though. I LOVE me some corals.

I'm considering one of the two bright pinks. Which one should I go with? The plum one looks brighter in the pictures, but it could be dark in real life. Also, the last two glosses look orange and coral, but the descriptions say they aren't and I think I remember the Pagoda one as being super light pink, not like the image at all.

Has there been confirmation from Mac that these are perm? Would hate to miss out if these are in fact LE. Edit: just saw that Temptalia has listed them as permanent as well. Thank goodness!

Yep...their greedy asses are never gonna stop, won't be long till it's $25 for a lipstick or an eyeshadow. The quality and amount will stay the same though.

The only good thing about ordering from the new site is that you can see an image of the lipstick in the tube, much more helpful than the previous little swatch square!!

I have the pressrelease in front of me stating that these will stay in line atleast for Scandinavia. Dont have the US/Rest of world presspapers though.

That's fine, it means I'll start shopping other brands for my lip products. I know price increases happen sometimes but twice in a year, maybe year and a half is crazy. Especially when there are cheaper products just as good (looking at the Maybelline mattes and all these liquid lipsticks). Maybe ill try colourpop!

$17 is complete bs. I absolutely love MAC but this is freaking ridiculous and they are completely taking advantage of their customers. I'm going to be seriously cutting back on buying MAC products now, I was considering purchasing quite a few of these when I had the money but now I think I'm only going to get one at the most.
