Probably going for the powder compact I don't like lustres and I have too many reds. I'm waiting out for the blush. Anyone has any experience with MAC beauty powders before?

just saw on trendmood the price lists,
$30 for a lipstick, $40 for the blush and $70 for the beauty powder
although i love the packaging the price is a little extreme for mac

I'll never understand why people follow Trendmood. Why not just follow the people she steals all her info from?

Not sure if it was mentioned already, but looks like Zenith and Etheral Orchid are Lustres and Brave Red is a Cremesheen. They contain 3.9 g of product. Lotus Blossom Blush is a Matte and Rose Water Lily a Satin. They're only 3.2 g if my info is correct. Also, the quads seem to be the same price as the powder.
Yikes! I'd like to get one item, but I dunno.

I'm skipping this one. I'm not digging the sleeves on the lipsticks and glosses, and while I like that $70 compact, there are other things I want more in October (like the $80 Hourglass holiday palette). If I see them at the CCO, then maybe...

Just the blue fluidline for me. I hope the rest is available at a CCO because the compact prices for a MAC product are a bit too much.

Devil's advocate here - if I had never been on Specktra I'd have never realized there were issues with Trendmood and just seen it as a page that compiled makeup news and new things in one convenient place. Plus if you've never had photos or info taken from you, you probably don't really think twice about a page like that.

No worries, you're not required to study the history of specktra before joining in :) I'm sure the people who've been here a while understand that new folks are just trying to be helpful and don't know. I can also understand how it's frustrating though, that those who can be underhanded never seem to face any accountability.

I'm probably skipping this collection. Though I like the packaging, none of the shades are must-haves for me and the pricing is off-putting.

I can see the packaging from afar that it looks similar to the lipsticks from Making Pretty Collection... Mehhhh... Passing!
